Yeah 2 years ago. Lol they are a joke now. Kinda how when Ole Miss started ranked number 4 a few years back and lost the first game of the season
So whats your solution? How bout break up the "mighty" SEC and evenly place them among other conferences.

I think a better one is how bout amature college football grows a pair and moves to a playoff system
My solution is simple. Schedule harder teams not named Oregon St. and a playoff

And there is no need to have mighty in quotation marks

4 consecutive national titles beg to differ. The Cowboys just suck.

College basketball and college football are great sports, and lots of fun to watch. You repeatedly refer to college football as amateur (and spell it wrong every time) like that's a slight. It's a college sport, thus making it amateur by default. So what? It's still competitive, entertaining, and important in the overall world of sports.

Your sentence mocking the SEC with the "mighty" in quotations while at the same time suggesting they be broken up and reallocated made me laugh out loud.

The SEC is college football's best conference top to bottom, and it's really not even close. You can argue the Pac-10 I guess.

All that said, I totally agree that a playoff system is the best way to go.

Good it was joke...lol.

Amature...yes its intended as a slight. Because thats the reality of it. College Basketball shouldnt be compared. See College basketball is a more true version of the game, they actually play as a team, defense and fundamentals are stressed unlike the NBA. I see a player like Cam at auburn and I think what a pretty player. Then I think that garbage is never gonna translate to NFL. So yes enjoy it, I do to a certain extent. But the game and the system is seriously seriously flawed. Its second tier IMO.

Ok yes SEC football is probably overall the best conference in football top to bottom over the last 5 years. But your not entitle to anything...lol.. look at the records this year...No one stands out. If Auburn is your best team that is not saying much. Pac Ten I think better top teams sorry.

Bama having 2 loses says alot, first tough conference, second not as good as everyone thought

LSU play and Les luck is gonna catch up with them. Auburn has gotten lucky twice.

All im saying is "Roll Tide!!!" in 2 weeks, cause you know what that means: Oregon vs TCU

Alabama's two losses came to SEC opponents and are you really saying the pac 10 as a whole is as good as the SEC. 7 teams in the top 25. And having Auburn as our "best" team is nothing to shake your head at. Oh and LSU vs Alabama wasn't luck.

No not as a whole, but the better Pac 10 teams could roll up the better SEC teams this year.

Quake, look at the East. There effing terrible. come on man. Auburn and LSU are the class of that league this year and you have to admitt they are flawed. I dont see elite in the SEC this year, sorry.

Whewwwww, man I'm hearing some bad things about Cam and his father, agents and a couple schools. This is gonna be bad, I mean really bad for Auburn. Ole Urban Meyer I heard is a big ole snitch too. I guess he really hates to see others doing well especially after losing the greatest college football player of all time, he realizes he has to coach now. toooo bad.

That first sentence is just plain stupid. Outside of Oregon and MAYBE Stanford there are no other teams that would pose a threat

Yeah, he really plays to the SEC stereotypical fan...reason and logic out the door. Gotta love the passion

Quake, how would you like to see Ole Less Miles don the Dallas Star? You think he coach there? Would you break your alligence?

I play the stereotypical fan?? How?? I give props when necessary and I really don't care if he coaches Dallas. I'm not a big Les Miles fan anyways. The problem is while the fact that the SEC is the top conference in college FB, you wanna say that the pac 10 is better at the top. Oregon could beat any SEC team and we probably will see Oregon vs Auburn. But outside of Oregon the pac-10 isn't as good. Its just not. The numbers back me up so I don't see how I'm not using logic.
