The Browns were out of the running for Deshaun Watson. And then they offered him a five-year, $230 million deal that is fully guaranteed at signing. |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Sorry, forgot the sarcasm font , I am far from shocked by his motivation

I would have questioned his motivation by going to Atlanta. What do they have? |
Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
They were close to home, supposedly he cared about that

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Do you think FOX will be mad at all the talent and attention going to the AFC?

I'm sure you can fly home often with $230 million. |
This Watson stuff is ridiculous. Dude pick a fucking team. He’s acting like Lebron all of the sudden..
He changed his mind when he found out Cleveland has massage parlors on every other corner. All he needs is the tv special to make this complete. |

It's gotta be the right fit - I want a team that's playoff ready and only needs a qb. It's about more than money." "Deshaun, they're offering $230 mil guaranteed over 5 years" "That's exactly what I'm looking for!" |

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Im thinking if Atlanta or one of the teams he wanted offered what the Browns did he would have gone there was the thing. He had his preferences. Nothing wrong with that. Another team threw him several millions more dollars so he settled on that team - nothing wrong with that.
