Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I’d rather have Harrison.

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Move to guard?

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
DL/OL/RB
They've drafted well and I'm pleased with it. |

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Why didn't we trade back?
If I were Bruce Allen, I would definitely pay the price to move up for the first pick of the round if I believed that Guice is a special player who could significantly improve our running game.
So glad you aren't the GM. You would have reached BIGLY on that pick too and wasted picks instead of gaining some. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Run defense and now building the run game. Beautiful

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I know our current swing tackle is getting old. Neske? We still need some inside beef. Bummed about no guards or corners available. But we can pick up some oldies for that. Now we just need special teamers and depth

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Need to grab a tight end and guard tomorrow...that’s all I care about

Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Maybe they will move Geron Christian to guard?

From Walter's Football
image: http://walterfootball.com/jscss/Images/wflogobiggerTransparentBg.png primary content WALT'S FIRST TAKE! Round 3, Pick 10 - Overall: 74 B- Grade There were grades all over for Geron Christian. Some teams thought he could be a second-round prospect, while others had him on Day 3. Christian has great upside and could develop into a left tackle one day. He doesn't fill a need for the Redskins right now, so a tackle probably should have been addressed a bit later. Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I've been very impressed with the draft so far. Trading down, getting a third round pick, getting our running back in the second. I'm giving all the kudos to Doug Williams. After losing most of our offensive line last year, you can't have enough linemen, especially tackles. Building our run defense. Good job so far.

He fell unexpectedly, genius. I'm a fan, not a detective. He is a first round talent, so that would not have been a reach. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Gruden also said that Geron Christian will stay at tackle and provide depth at the position. Also says that Ty Nsekhe will "compete" at guard some this offseason.
