I still think a possession guy is needed. |

Hankerson is the man for that, just like people were saying Austin is better than Robinson, etc. I still have high hopes for Hankerson, the more catches they make the more confident they get. I believe Robinson will be a factor moving forwards. 2 big catches in 2 weeks and counting. |
Niles Paul is also looking better lately

I'm 100% giddy today. I could not be happier with the performance yesterday. One of the most enjoyable Skins games I've seen in 30 years.
With that in mind I'm officially closing my doghouse. Garcon, DHall, Hank... I love you all. Even Josh Wilson gets a free pass today. GO SKINS |

PS I loved when DHall b**tch slapped Dez. Priceless.
It's amazing that literally 7 days ago we were debating firing the coach, starting over, how untalented the roster was, how hope was lost and now it's unbridled enthusiasm.
I had a strange feeling watching the game Sunday and again yesterday. Optimism. It seemed that we had the younger, faster, more physical football team on the field for the first time in seemingly ages. That 2nd quarter was magical, simply put. Even in the midst of the comeback, I felt confident we would make the plays to win. It's been forever, probably since '91, that I felt that confident that we would do what we needed in order to close out a big win. The future is indeed bright in Redskins-land.
The two teams we beat are in disarray. I understand the enthusiasm, but lets still remember we are still under .500, and are playing the super bowl champs this next week. They spanked us at our house, we have to play much better than we did even the past two weeks against a MUCH superior opponent. You want to see if the redskins have what it takes to contend? This next game with a share of the lead of the NFCE on the line, primetime game with the ability to finally pull back to .500 will say alot. The coaches have a leg up on time to prepare, and our guys should be much more rested than the GMen. This next game is defintely a must win if we want to seriously make a run at the playoffs. |
Definitely big ups to Forbath, dude just nailed that kick right down the middle. I think we may have found a kicker we can roll with for years to come!
He has been performing at an admirable level. I hope that we have found that diamond in the rough, just like Alfmo. |

Re: Skins 38 Cowboys 31 post game thread
Mike Shanahan drafted Robinson because he was fast. He probably slipped to the 6th round of the 2011 draft because he couldn't catch the football. But even at SMU the guy dropped passes. He's nowhere near a complete wide out yet but once he starts catching 15/17 balls thrown to him he will be a starter. The young man does have the potential to be a 65-80 receptions a year/1,000-1,300 yard a year wide receiver.
Can you teach someone to catch? I think there's a lot of psychology/mentality/confidence that goes into it. Maybe just a million reps so it becomes 2nd nature? And I gotta eat some crow on Robinson because early in the season he looked pretty typical but others said he was a burner. Yesterday was totally blown coverage but his speed has a lot to do with it. Did I hear a 4.2 40!!!? |

Hall Slaps Bryant - YouTube
Would you have loved it if he got a 15 yard penalty that led to a Dallas TD? It was a stupid move by Hall, smart play by Bryant to get under Hall's skin, just lucky refs didnt see it.Then Bryant pretended to throw a punch at Hall to further entice him,but luckily Hall didnt fall for it and swing back |
