Not if St. Louis finishes last! Then we could trade up for Luck.
Wait! Nevermind, Beck just completed a pass inside the ten! I'll be making my Luck decision on a play-by-play basis.
 Good run by Beck, the mobility is definitely a plus. |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
I wanna keep Mike. The guy's a proven winner.
Kyle on the other hand.......
Why? Mike's hubris is really what has gotten us where we are today. He got rid of McNabb. Ok that was a good idea, but he leaves Grossman as our best QB? Beck will be a game manager at best, and we need a gunslinger to get to the playoffs. I mean he gambled the team's success on him trying to prove himself a genius. Not exactly the mark of a good coach. Should have taken Ponder or like a previous guy said Dalton in the 2nd. Next draft we draft a QB in rounds 1 and 3 if I am Allen. IF we don't 'suck for Luck", we can still land a number of great Qbs. We could then land a true gunslinger on the cheap in the 3rd round if we pick up Dan Persa. The guys stock has fallen because of the Achilles injury from last year and his teams poor showing due to a horrible NU D and injuries. I really say stock up on young gunslingers in 2012 because the QB class is so frigging deep. I know Allen probably won't do it though. |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Put Grossman in, at least he tries!
Low football IQ. Can you guess when I turned the sarcasm font on? |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Is there a lot of skins fans there? Heard a lot of cheering on beck's td run.
This is the legacy of when the Redskins used to be "the team of the South". Some NC fans are loyal to us instead of that "new" Panthers team. |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
* Beck now has 2 Rushing TDs.
* He is now leading the team in Rushing TDs. (good for him.... not good for the Skins... lol ) * He has 0 Passing TDs .... ehh... who needs em? lol That a boy John... It is apparent he cares a ton about playing well and winning.... there is another positive for him. |
One touchdown run and everybody's popping wood? Amazing how fast public opinion can change on these boards.
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
What kind of injury did Hightower have?
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
So I'm assuming it's ACL for Hightower?
So I'm assuming it's ACL for Hightower?
Nothing on twitter yet about it. |
So I'm assuming it's ACL for Hightower?
I hope not but he did get carted off the sideline. Don't think it's good. Maybe Achilles. |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread

Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
So I'm assuming it's ACL for Hightower?
Not sure if it was the ACL, but he blew out his knee for sure. And Steve Smith using Chris Wilson... Shouldn't Hall be on him? |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Back to our now HORRIBLE DEFENSE. Wow.... lol... just ... wow.
|
Nvm they just said knee injury. Yeah probably an acl.
|
One touchdown run and everybody's popping wood? Amazing how fast public opinion can change on these boards.
You hadn't figured that out already? first 4 games with Grossman and he was the itshay. We were going to the SB. Grossman was one of the highest rated QB's and definitly the highest in the NFCE. Then week 5 happened and Grossman was crap. Needed to be replaced. On a side note... are any of our CB's following their WR's? |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Steve Smith owned Wilson there, ugh.
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Well, looks like Beck is finally awake. That's a good sign.
D needs to force a turnover here and we're in business.
Damn it. Always happens. I say Beck will just be a game manager and he pulls this stuff off. If Beck can keep improving maybe we can just draft the one QB, but I still like my plan on drafting QBs in the first and third rounds. Grossman has to go for sure. |
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Smith owns Hall
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
I hope not but he did get carted off the sideline. Don't think it's good. Maybe Achilles.
If it was achillis he would have been grabbing his ankle. He quickly grabbed his knee and the replay showed his knee giving out when he was trying to cut back in. |
Are we just now getting the memo about covering Steve smith? Come on man.
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Cam untouched and had all day.
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Well Hall didn't look any better in coverage there
|
Re: Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins Gameday Thread
Offense scored = defense sucking
