Are we not here because we're all diehards of our favorite team? I'm just saying - don't wanna hear no shit about losing games because personal freedom is obviously more important than winning games. Let me get you a head start on lines you can say.

"Well, we lost the game - but we're winning the war on government control of our freedom!"

"I'm happy to take this L knowing Montez Sweat wasn't forced to take some experimental non-approved drug like this is Nazi Germany or something."

"Over 2 billion idiots fell for this "vaccine is safe" nonsense but I'm glad to know the guys on our team weren't falling for it too."

"I'd rather go 0-16 than have a team full of sheep."

Help yourself Cred.
Nah, I will pass. Sick of covid, the political high and mighty righteousness of both sides, and the stupidity of the arguments all around. I wish that the damn shit would end but it is going to run its course, including the actions of sheep on all sides.

As for if the team wins or loses, Gibbs won with scabs over the Cowboys in the strike year. I actually believe Rivera has assembled a similar cast. You play the hand your dealt.

No doubt the political bullshit on both sides is just flat out exhausting.

The “both sides” argument is more BS. There’s only one answer here that makes sense, get vaccinated and end this thing. It would/should have been over by now. Stop making this a political football.

Agree, there's only one side making this political. It's the side that's trying to convince themselves there's actually a good reason to not get vaccinated. aka, the dumbs

This thing has a course to run, and how long it takes is independent of the curves and charts we have seen from day 1. Remember when it started - flatten the curve, what a joke.

Australia has a 15% vaccination rate.
Germany has a 52% Vax rate
The US has a 50% Vax rate
France has a 48% Vax rate

Canada has a 59% Vax rate

Here are 2 graphs:
world deathrate from beginning til now
and
us death rate from beginning til now

The political catch phrases and jargon are just that jargon to stir up anxiety and fear in the masses one way or the other. We should be better than that.

All the anti vaccine folks i know are all habitual smokers. Which just makes me laugh.

They will listen to Winston/ Salem but not the CDC.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

I learned today there are at least 3 covid lists.

1 - Unvaccinated, test negative but came in close contact. 5 days away if you dont test positive. That is Payne.

2 - Unvaccinated and test positive. 10 days away if you test positive for covid. Contact tracing begins.

3 - Vaccinated and test positive. Stay away while contact tracing is done. Must have negative test 24 hours apart then can rejopin team.

I am guessing vaccinated players can be in close contact with someone who tests positive and not be put on a list as long as they test negative.

I can't tell exactly what your point is because you spammed us with images that made your point indecipherable, but I'm pretty sure you just went from somebody I respected a lot on here to an absolute joke of a critical thinker, never to be taken seriously again.

That's laughable. You actually have that statement completely backwards.

Those pushing it are playing politics.

Those pushing it are doctors, nurses, teachers, parents who want their kids to go back to school, and people like me who work in hospitals and have seen what happens. And the CDC, comprised of healthcare providers, is doing its job to care for public health.

What's interesting is the rejection of the vaccine doesn't divide along party lines. It divides along educated vs uneducated lines. North Philadelphia's poorest zip codes, where I work, are 35% vaccinated. Arkansas, 35% vaccinated. One votes entirely Democrat, the other votes entirely Republican. But what they have in common? Low levels of education, and inability to accept empirical information when presented, either due to lack of adequate intelligence to decipher its meaning, or due to willful ignorance.

The funny thing about this comment is I was going to say the exact same thing about your 'only 1 side comment' and chose not to because it would not enhance anything.

Sorry if 6 graphs showing the deaths over time in relation to the 5 countries vax rates I mentioned in the text is indecipherable to you - though I am as positive it wasn't really indecipherable, or spamming, as I am that you would be never bogged down by 6 graphs given the work in statistical analysis and cap number sheets you have done on this site alone.

To be clear, my point in showing the graphs, was to show that regardless of country policy, or vax rate, this virus has a course to run.

A side point is that the NFL setting different standards for vax vs unvax'd will have 0 effect on the course of the virus. They do it for political purposes, and more importantly, they do it to give the general public an enhanced feeling of security so that they can fill up the stadiums for revenue purposes.
