Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
Everyone is saying how the Skins won't be able to run against Dallas.
I don't get that at all. |
Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
You don't get what I say or you don't get why people say that?

Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
Seems to be a common opinion I saw in most of the news articles.

Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
Is it just me or have you guys noticed that since Griffin is back he's been taking SERIOUSLY pressure off Daniels? Daniels has been a beast since Griffin has come back into the game.
Whatever it is, I agree since he has been back we have been getting more pressure and push. If we can get Salave back beside him, it will help greatly. The defense has stepped up to the plate a great deal since the Tampa game. We have seen pressure and turnovers and I expect the same to happen this week barring we have a huge turnover in personnel due to injuries. The past few weeks the sacks are coming from the line and the backers and secondary and in turn we are getting turnovers and few deep pass plays. Defense will step up to the plate this week and also not bite on that infamous trick play that has gotten us the past twp games with the Cowboys. |
Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
I actually think that Salave'a will be back this week. Articles were saying he has improved and is REALLY wanting to play.

Re: (Mega Merged Thread) Redskins-Dallas Game
I sure hope Salave'a is back this week. His timing couldn't be better. :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas: :dallas:

I just meant I don't understand the basis for people saying this. It just doesn't seem consistent with our performance or that of Dallas. |
Re: Dallas will get sweet revenge
Good to see my boys representing over here on our rival fansite's board. I don't think this game will be as close as it was last time. I'm predicting a semi-blowout in DC.
I think you mean by DC ;) |
Re: Dallas will get sweet revenge
Have you seen our pass rush?

NO! have you found it???
greates post ever look guys this game will come to turnovers last game we bot had none and I for 1 ould be a little preocupied about brunnel and his recent love to turn the ball over 3 int vs the Cardinals come on and his having like an average of a fumble a game. It will be close it will be a battle both teams want this game so much both teams want to take the other out of the playoffs and both team players have personal vendetas againts the others. So this will be a low scoring smashmout game and the team that commits the fewer mistakes including blown coverage will take it home |
Re: Cowboys-Redskins: Bad Matchups
This is funny. Untill the KC game the Cowboy boards said exactly the same thing. Dallas had an offence that sucked and couldn't score, and a Defense that was good and had to get turnovers for the offence to score.
Not to clown around but I've seen about 6 of your posts with Offense spelled with a "c." And you spell Defense with an "s", I think you missed spelling class in 2nd grade. Are you from England? Regardless your posts are educated. You've just missed one thing, our 3rd man and dump routes. Prediction: Cooley, Sellers and Jacobs all have 4 catches and 3 TD's between them. I bet BP missed the boat this week on preparation. Oh, and do not forget that HB pass and that Portis can also toss the ball around a bit. JUST WIN BABY! |

I did worry about your dump passes to your TE and FB. I know those guys - Cooley esp - can get first downs. I have seen Cooley put it on the ground a few times though. If Portis get that HB option to work I think I will turn the television off. I thought Sellers had been injured. Seriously, the DB's better be watching when Portis lopes out toward the sideline without seriously looking for a hole inside. Dallas needs the Washington offense - offence? g*dd*Mn!! - to sputter and give up a couple of turnovers. |
Re: Cowboys-Redskins: Bad Matchups
Our offensive line is on high gear right now and will crush the Dat-less CGirls D all day. Not to mention Sean Taylor is playing as well as anyone in the NFL right now and our D line is almost completely healthy. Did anyone see the Chiefs completely have their way with Dallas at the line of scrimmage? It was ridiculous.
I really feel like Dallas fans are reaching on this one, talking about how their healthy secondary is going to be the difference in a game that will obviously be won in the trenches and hinge on the run, which the Redskins D is very prepared to SHUT DOWN. |
