Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
We're not winning another game. This team has quit. So it's really all about what the other sucky teams do the rest of this season.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Rivera really put us in a tough spot with his handling of the oline. We could get Harrison and Maye and it would not matter. This oline allows for roughly 2 seconds for a play to develop. We simply cannot avoid oline in the first round. Unless you are willing to wait two more years for us to compete. This offense with a better oline would allow us to compete. I think the recent poor play from Sam is the pressure finally getting to him. He is definitely pressing.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
If Harrison Jr is there for us just take him, can't get hung up on needs at the top of the draft. BPA all the way.

You can build the o-line through mid-lower picks and free agency; and most importantly, better decision makers in the front office. If one of the top elite players is available, like Maye or Harrison, you take them. |
Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I think its a moot point about us considering a QB at #3 or #4. Bears and Patriot's are going to be taking the top 2 QB's with the 1 & 2 pick. I could live with Harrison over Fashanu at #3 or Fashanu or Alt at #4, but I couldn't live with us reaching for the 3rd QB. I don't think our next GM will be that dumb. One of the OT's, Harrison or more picks. Only approach that makes sense to me.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Best thing this team could have done was trade CY and MS.
Sweat has been ok but CY has doke jack shit in SF with the 2nd best pass rusher in the league on the other side. I can’t believe Ron took him over Tua or Herbert… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Pretty tough catch 22. At the current rate I don't care who you draft or put back there, they would have a very small chance at success. Fix the line and offensive philosophy and we would be talking about a higher chance for winning.

We have the Jets on the schedule - that game will wreck it for us. |

I'm honestly tired of the whole "trade down for more picks" approach. If we don't trade up for a QB, we will likely be in a position to draft a top tackle or WR. Under this scenarios, we will still have two second round and two third round picks. That's plenty of draft picks to address holes in this team, while taking an elite top 5 draft pick. |

Yeah I agree. This offense needs another play making weapon......we don't have that with Terry or Jahan presently. |

You absolutely take Harrison at 3

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I'm not taking a wr. No way. I'm taking guys that can block, protect or rush the passer. I'm trading every single guy on this team that has a big contract or value. Payne, Allen, Samuel and Terry..bye. Love you guys but we gotta part ways. Give me as many draft picks as I can get. I'm going Jimmy Johnson style when he took over the Cowboys. Anyone w/ any value is getting traded.
