When OCs and QBs can scheme to have their first read open every time and everything for them stays on schedule .. the pass rush will never have a chance if the ball is coming out in less than 3 seconds

Teams are going to pick Del Rio apart if he doesnt adjust. Same thing last year is happening this year. We need to get better coverage and disguise looks so we can disrupt the timing of things.

just pick us apart with short to intermediate stuff all day. 1st reads always open.

Maybe you aren't, but overall the negative sentiment on here is over the top after one game. You would think we got trucked like the Packers or something. It wasn't even close to that. Yeah, lots of yards, lots of 3rd down conversions, and the offense STILL looks less than pedestrian.

But in the end, it's one game, and they lost by 4.

All we have is one game to critique. Not a ton of positives to hold on to right now.

Maybe not a ton of positives to hold on to but surely not the "Chicken Little" talk from a handful either. I'm at a medium because I'm particularly wired in that manner, it was ONLY Week 1 (I've said it for the past 25 years that opening day is an extension of preseason, and I still hold on to that train of thought) and though we didn't particularly play well; we still was likely a Gibson fumble away from potentially winning the game.

Let's see how things go over the next three to four weeks.

It's not just the legal side you have to worry about with Watson. It's the NFL suspension.

If the NFL suspends him for a year, do you still trade the house for him?
