Fact is, Gruden has been here almost 5 years, and has a 34-40 record, one division title he barely won at 9-7, and has ZERO playoff wins. He was ALLEN’S hand pick.
TIME FOR HIM AND ALLEN TO GO. I’d support Snyder firing Gruden now and promoting Bill Callahan, firing Allen and promoting Brian Lafemina to VP, and promoting Eric Shaffer to GM. Then chose between Callahan or Saints Offensive Coordinator Pete Carmicheal as our next HC during the off-season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believe you want Kyle Smith promoted to GM, he’s the Sean McVay of the personnel dept., Shaffer is the capologist. |

He is a micro managing over thinker. Go back and look at some of the articles when he was in Oakland. I almost wonder if that's why we didn't have a dominant running attack when healthy. We have some real talent on the o line at full strength. Instead of having 12 different run schemes have 6 and just let them be bad asses. Let BS, and Trent fire of the ball and maul whatever is in front of them. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

I think we all can agree on that. |
Re: Dallas postgame
I have seen enough of this regime, I'm ready for a young hungry head coach to come in.

Then Shane Waldron, Matt LeFleur or Bill Lazor are your candidates. Many people rave about the Vikings OC. I like these 3, especially since they are former Redskins assitants and LaFleur Waldron also work/worked for McVay. |

It blows my mind how bad it gets. I have students going to college at UMD for this and I tell them all the time there should be a job opening right down the road. |

I can get behind them for sure I also like DeFilippo. That could be fun taking Kirk's OC. |
Re: Dallas postgame
So, if we finish below 8-8 and fail to win the division, or make the playoffs what’s the chance Gruden gets canned along with Allen, or at least Gruden?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think it would take a lot for Allen to get fired, more years of 6-10 or worse. I might be in the small majority but i think that Gruden's job isn't safe unless he makes the playoffs. 9-7 or wild card appearance - job is probably safe. 8-8 - 50% chance of getting fired i think 7-9 or worse - probably getting fired. I could be way wrong but i feel Gruden's teams just aren't prepared when it matters, and he is a poor man's Jeff Fisher when it comes to wins/losses. I think he would be great going back to being an OC but i think as far as a head coach, we have seen enough of Gruden. |

Keeping jay and bringing in bill lazor as oc (bengals fire staff), I would endorse that move. I think the offense needs a shot in the arm. Also, In response to the massive amounts of injuries the last 3 years...as a front office, I would move to a strategy of not getting any free agents or draft picks with any type of injury history or someone who misses time in general. |
