Even though he last played only 8 years ago the bulk of Favre's career was played in a different era for QB stats and the reasons are too many too list.
If you factor in fumbles Cousins probably turns the ball over more per game than even Favre, who holds the career record for interceptions. You cannot compare NFL QB stats across decades, it is apples to oranges. You almost can't even compare the current year to last years since you can't even breathe hard on a QB anymore.
