Deep breaths. RG3 is no JC. |
Re: skins eagles postgame
Some of you just don't understand what an offseason can do for development.
RG3 is missing a few WR's, but he's not the next JC. It's more that just RG3. It's a 11 man effort. |

They are black? And who overhyped Jason Campbell?? |
Re: skins eagles postgame
JC was the dink and dunk king. RG3 can at least make the deep throw even if his accuracy is crap this year. I do think he's incredibly frustrated with himself and his receivers this year too though. I don't think he's just like "ho hum I made a booboo". I think it matters but he's just a low key dude.
I'd much rather have that than the screaming matches like Schaub and Johnson/Romo and Bryant get into. |

Like Jason Campbell never did. We'll never see a healthy Griffin get outplayed by a Todd Collins career Qb, either. There's no comparison between RG3 and Campbell. |

Griff is missing alot of throws this year, missed a ton Sunday. Including the one to Paulsen. I dont care what parts of anyones body were in his face. That being said, once again I will plead ....do not compare him to JC. .....and good call on "over hyped" JC. Lmao. First I ever heard of him being hyped or overhyped or anyhyped also. |

Well, it would help if we didn't have to reset his feet before he even finishes his drop because the guards are getting pushed back in to his face. Some people just see what they want and cast blame on the easy targets. |

Have you thrown a football at the elite level off your back foot with a hand in your face and your teammate pushing you backwards? Watch the Panther game right now. Look at the difference in a pocket, and what we allow RG3 to throw from. Panthers run a very similar offense to us. QB's miss throws. It happens, but it doesn't always mean it's the QB's fault. If QB's were perfect the completion percentage around the league would be a lot better than 50-70% |

It is thee stinkiest shit you can imagine. However, talking about that Paulsen throw....he missed - bad. Plain and simple. |

However, talking about that Paulsen throw....he missed - bad. Plain and simple.[/quote] He missed, because Paulsen slowed down, and he couldn't set his feet while being pushed back. Look.. RG3 misses throws. I wont defend him when it's his fault. His biggest miss throw wasn't even the Paulsen throw. It was missed throw down the sideline to Moss in the 4th Q. Even though moss was held a bit, he needs a catch-able ball for the WR there. Its the same play that Kyle screamed "fuck" on live television lol BUT! you guys are wrong about this Paulsen throw. Point blank wrong. Wasn't 100% his fault. He initiates his drop, has to reset his feet to the left, when he does the Tackle pushes the guard in to him. Making him throw off his backfoot and attempt a 20 yard throw. Edit :I'm not a coach, but I honestly don't think our pass protection would be that bad if we rolled the front line like we did last year. I'm not talking about the RO. I'm talking about mixing in more of the traditional offense the run with Cousins. It's been our most effective offense scheme, yet we seem determined in continuing drop back passes from the RO/PA and pistol. |

Watch it in real time - not pictures. The last throw of the game was off his back foot with a hand literally in his face. However- it was a piss poor decision. The throw to Paulsen was not as disrupted as you are making it out to be. Anyway - it happened, its over, time to move on. I do not want anybody quarterbacking this team but number 10. I certainly dont want to hear about friggin jason campbell.

What about josh mcdaniels as a hc

I just watched it twice live.. The last throw of the game was terrible. Was a really bad play from him, and shows he needs to develop still. Although, the Paulsen throw is not his fault 100%. He's had a lot more throws this year that warrant questioning like the one you listed. Honestly.. I would rather watch him overthrow a TE by 6 yards, than watch him ever throw the ball off his backfoot in the endzone with the game on the line with another down left. |
