I believe the Shanahans try to spread it out a lot, so 9 targets is a lot, considering other guys are maybe getting 2 or 3 looks. But I think if you drop passes that are hitting your hands as FD has done several times, you don't get featured as much. Now I get the point about some that are easily defended, but he has had the worst case of drops these past two games, and he needs to get past that if he wants to be any sort of go to guy.
It seems like our focus is less on beyond the line of scrimmage, and more behind the line of scrimmage. That's probably just my brain trying to process the Pistol, etc.

No doubt, Davis has disappointed so far. Poop.

Do you think its an issue of speed?

I think we would probably find that most of the pass plays include him as a blocker as they are play action.

I imagine it's out there, but does anyone have a breakdown on the number of balls RG3 has thrown per 10yd distance, not including YAC but just the distance the ball actually travelled. I don't know how to find that.

IMO it is not an issue of speed. Freddy has not shown good hands. He also has not been running the best of routes IMO.

You know with a 3 catches for 13 yards total thru 2 weeks of action, what is N. Paul bringing to the table ? Bring back Cooley! In all honesty I don't know that the TE is a position RG3 even looks to. To me the Skins offense is run from the option and throw deep. That's it!

Maybe Paul is the blocking TE because he certainly isn't the next Shannon Sharpe? Our running game has looked great when we've had some time to get it going. It's tough to run when you're playing from behind all game.
Then why didnt Chris Long get penalized for pointing at his head repeatedly even after an official told him to stop?

What does that have to do with a retaliation penalty. If you read the whole thread I was responding to why the refs didnt flag Finnegan also. To which I answered - in so many words - even the real refs would have called the guy who retaliates -been that way forever.

Funny because the two things we have been lacking for so long is mobility at the QB and the deep ball. Now it appears thats all we have. WTF>?

On that note I have no issues with the offense rite now as long as were puttin up 30/40 a game that should be enough to win.
