There is ZERO chance they change the name again. Wizards sounded strange and people called them the Bullets for awhile until the new name stuck in their mind. Now Wizards seems normal and nobody cares what the old name used to be.

You can't compare the Bullets name change and the Redskins. It is two totally different beasts w/ two totally different scenarios. On top of that the Bullets are not the major draw in DC.

Agreed. Not a fan of the new name, but no name was going to be used right away by the majority of fans. Many said right away, before the new name was picked, they were going to keep saying Redskins. The only, very unlikely, scenario where the name was going to change a second time was if Dan was forced to sell the team before September and the new owner wanted to be the nice guy in town. But in all likely hood that's not happening. And other than that, the new name is Commanders.

They did nail the burgundy helmet - but the uniforms look wack. I wanna know who designed them.

Helmet is boring. It doesn't look bad but there is no wow factor. Just a W which is not creative. No creativity at all. But it doesn't matter cause the uniforms are pathetic. Worst in the league.

We've had classic classy uniforms for decades. Nothing else like it in the NFL. And to see what they have now is an embarrassment.

Cowboys have always had great uniforms from top to bottom. I feel the Chargers AFL uniforms are the best. They finally brought them back, yellow pants w/ the bolt on the side and the baby blue or white tops. Helmets have the bolt and the players number. Those are just a thing of beauty. So much character to them.

Commanders uniforms lack character. The Snyders should be ashamed of themselves.

The Chargers have the best in the league and prob best helmet too.. You can do so much with that Bolt and they have.

Lets see what the unis look like in person before judging. Remember most hated the Falcons too until they wore them in games.

If you throw a gold stripe on the pants of the home uniform, those are top 10 home uni's imo.

The road unis need a burgundy stripe on the pants and the red on the jersey to actually be burgandy. Looks weird having the jersey not match the helmet in addition to red not actually being our color anyways.

I think with a few tweaks, we could have some damn good uniforms.

The alternate's are starting to grow on me. At 1st I didn't like the W on the front of the helmet, but no one else does that (if I recall properly). And they are just alternates anyways, so not too worried about those altogether.

Haha, it's such an easy fix. Hopefully they do it. Just replace the pink/red with the exact same color that is on the helmet. Don't even have to change the design. Very simple fix.

Right now the road uniforms look like they combined uniforms of 2 separate teams.

i dont think we need the black on black. I'm not huge on red on red and white on white either. stripes onthe pants would help, but mixing pants/top generally looked better to me (red over gold or white pants, white over red).

No work was done there, just a shitty copy and paste job.

They could've taken fan suggestions, like they said they would and gone a MUCH better route. Redwolves, Redhogs, hell, they could've gone Red Assed Baboons, at least that would've been interesting.

It was incredibly poorly handled and the name, as well as this franchise in general, are a joke.

I could deal w/ the helmet if they just changed the uniforms around. The helmet is the least of the problems when it comes to the entire rebrand. We just don't have an identity anymore.
