Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
I couldn't make a decision, I keep going back and forth. My starting RBs are Peterson and Chris Johnson (vs NYJ) with Leshoure (vs Arizona) as flex. My starting WRs are Roddy White and Wes Welker, but I also have Garcon and Wayne. Since Wayne is playing against Houston defense, I'm thinking I should bench him. I'm not sure if I should keep Johnson as starter or put Leshoure in his place and use Garcon as flex since I have funny feeling about Johnson for this sunday. Any suggestions?
Keep in mind, Browns probably will put Haden so there's good chance Garcon would be shut down during the game. |

It's down to this. I have a 6 point lead, with a spot in the championship game, and I only have Aaron Hernandez currently playing, whereas my opponent has Frank Gore and the Jets d tomorrow.

29 point swing on that one. Uggghhh. Championship game round one and i got that one wrong big time. Oh well. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
If the Jets D scores 4 points tomorrow (in my league they start with 10, then go down/up dep. on what happens) I lose. I can't believe I grabbed then started David Wilson off the waiver wire instead of CJ Spiller. If I lose tomorrow I'm going to regret that decision for a while.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
My team for this week.
Peyton Manning A.J. Green Megatron M Lynch K Moreno A. Hernandez S. Ridley Vineteri Green Bay D Other than Ridley getting benched for fumbling, a good week that takes me to the Championship game in my league. My opponent had some big names who laid an egg. Ray Rice, David Wilson (over Chris Johnson on his bench, he is probably hating that decision), D Alexander WR Chargers, big zero, D Thomas=egg and Tom Brady, who tried to make a game of it. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
noooooooooo, i won't be advancing to the championship in my money league.
i'd like to especially thank jamaal charles (2 pts), danario alexander (0 pts), and brandon myers (1 pt) |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Somehow, after decent-to-great seasons in all of my leagues, I LOST in all three of my leagues...one and done in the playoffs.
 The best I can hope for is 5th-place in one of my leagues...done playing in one of them. I didn't see that coming...all of my teams were on win streaks after slow starts. Guys like Victor Cruz were getting me 1 point and I had a ton of zeroes last week from star players. Some advice: If DeAngelo Williams is somehow still out there, grab him and start him. He was available a couple weeks ago he's been on a tear...one of my few positives at the end. Vick Ballard too...since Donald Brown is on IR now and Delone Carter is hurt too. |

Pick two receivers, any two:
Greg Jennings v. Tenn Jordy Nelson v. Tenn. Wes Welker @ Jax Denario Alexander @ Jets Lance Moore @ Dallas I am leaning towards Welker and Moore. Hard to pass up the GBay guys, but neither has been producing as of late. I trusted Alexander last week - not again. |

The only GB receivers producing anything fantasy-wise are Cobb and Jones. Alexander...could be a good options...but Cromartie may shut him down. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Not Nelson. I've been frustrated with his health and inconsistency all year. Now's not the time to play the risk game...take the sure points.
Until Alexander's dud last week, he was on fire. The Jets actually have a decent secondary. Risky start. No Jennings...Ruhskins is right about Jones and Cobb. Wes Welker vs. Jax sounds good. Anyone vs. Jax sounds good. Lance Moore has been very consistent and productive lately. I expect a shootout in Dallas. Start the bolded guys. |

See, that's desperation for you. This isn't for our game. I don't need advice on how to whoop your sorry ass. |

Man, I offer you a backhand compliment (obviously it wasn't our game given the list of players), but that must have been to complicated for your cro-magnon mind. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Any of you guys have Steven Ridley? I'm in my championship game for this week (16) and I have Ridley. After Sunday night and his fumbles and benching, I'm wondering if he will be in the Belicheck doghouse for this week. I can flex him out for a guy like T.Y. Hilton or Santana Moss or Danny Woodhead. Should I get him out or leave him in?

Im in championship too. Im starting him. |

Two pick sixes, a muffed punt, and a turnover at their own three. 28 points scored by their D and special teams. Wow. Cards offense didnt exactly light it up n lions defense didnt exactly let them down. |

TY Hilton or Moss are better options IMO. Pats' RBs are usually not reliable, but then again I can see Belichick wanting to run up the score on Jax. |

Ridley has been more than reliable this year. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Houston def vs Vikings or Patriots def vs Jaguars? Houston defense is almost always reliable, however Patriots defense is too good for Jags' offense

I have Houston's D (vs. Minny) and Seahawks D (vs. 49ers)...and I am stuck too. I would go Houston, but AP scares me. |

Ah yea I probably will go with Houston if I were you. There's good chance Houston would dominate Ponder, but don't know if they can contain AP (which I hope not cuz I have him too). 49ers offense is pretty good, I'm not sure if Seahawks will be able to contain the offense. |
That garbage time td by Kapernick resulted in 4 points for my opponent and a tie in our championship game. I win the tiebreaker for head to head. I was so nervous when they were marching down the field against a prevent d. I had a 7 point lead when the drive started.
|
And ESPN finally updated their scoring and apparently a fumble yesterday cost me two points and the championship. The year 2012 and it takes them 18 hours to subtract 2?!?! Wtf.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
My final total for my 5 leagues: 1 win, 2 3rd place, 1 7th, and my pay league 8th place.
