Great political move by Shanny: "Cut me now DS and it will look like you wanted to play favorites."
Any shred of respect I had for the guy is gone. Dan should very publicly announce that, <SNIP>
JR, you should be an attorney or something. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk |
It a sign of how bad things are when Matty drops the F Bomb.

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
In response to the Shanny remark about Cousins, an even simpler response from Dan:
"As I have felt since first hiring him, I fully support M.Shanahan in his coaching decisions. As has been true since his first offseason here, Mike is entitled to have full and ultimate control of the product he puts out on the field." |
Beyond the BS...
I'm fully in favor of sitting RG3 down for the season. I think it really is, as Mike said, In the best interest of the Redskins. RG3 is fully healthy, has his offseason and in a perfect world, Cousins tears it up for three games, gets traded for a 2nd round pick or higher. Of course the circus surroudning it sucks, but I actually would be in favor of that... or let RG3 play indoors against ATL and then sit him down the final two.
And in this F'd up Redskins world, Cousins goes out and struggles and his trade value plummets. Just one last final F you courtesy of Mike. Doesn't matter who plays QB, with all the drama there's no room for success. It's a toxic environment right now with failure written all over it. |

Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Well, I do agree with keeping RGIII healthy for next year, but Mike Shanahan has just admitted that he and his coaching staff did such a poor job of putting together a competent offensive line that he's not willing to play his franchise quarterback for the sake of getting him hurt. But, he's OK with playing Kirk Cousins. LOL! Wow. Just Wow.
Snyder needs to do the right thing and do it this week. Fire Mike early this week so the remaining coaches have some time to put together a gameplan for the weekend. This needs to happen right away. |
An o-line he put together no less.
He has no problems playing Griffin in a snow storm, but is now concerned about him playing on turf? C'mon. F off Mike, just F off.
Didnt think he should have sat out when he was playing with one leg behind the same offensive line against a ferocious Seattle D either. |
Quick, where's Pat White?
And Jabar Gaffney, I don't think the NFL could handle all that speed at once. |
It sounds as if people are ripping into Mike a little too much... When you have several Veteran players backing Mike, and have taken shots at RGIII just a few weeks ago, combine that with watching Synder operate this team the past 14 years, I blame RGIII and Dan more than Mike...
Mike benching RGIII for Cousins is just an extra Fuck You to Dan and Company...
And Mikes been a terrible coach for his last 15 years of coaching, is about to get fired for the second time in six years, and has drafted mostly shit since he has been here so whats your point? |
Re: Chiefs vs. Skins Post-Game
Much as I think the MS deal is done, I fully expect for DS to give Shanny his full year. Mike has filled the coaching roster with his guys. Just removing Mike (and Kyle) would not remedy anything and could "poison the well" even worse by leaving Shanahan's assistants around to turn players against each other and Snyder. Removing all of Shanahan's guys would likely leave the team unable to function on the most basic level and could even endanger players health.
Dan gives Mike all the rope he wants and lets him hang around for three weeks ... then press conference, thank you, good bye. |
