Tough to tell, depends on what how the Skins are going to deal with this cap thing I guess.

we still have a minimum of 13Mil this year (31 mill - 18 mill not accounting for releases and/or splitting the penalty more to next year's cap - which I am sure we will do).

If it's 10 mil/year, over 5 years, and the signing bonus and salary's are structured right I imagine that we would be able to keep the cap hit to around 6-7mil, and still have room to make other moves necessary.

That said, MS and BA haven't really been big name spenders, so even though we get linked to most names out there, it wouldn't shock me if we don't make any big splash signings, and I don't think it would be due to the stupidpenalty-gate.
I like, but with the cap issue personally I'd cross off VJ and bump everyone else up one. Sounds like Chicago is gonna go hard after VJ.
I agree. Lets get a Royal or Garcon. Our WR group is already young, very fast and has a ton of potential. Not Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas potential, they've been on the field and already proven they can contribute.

I wasn't sold on Vincent Jackson anyways...because of his behavior problems. I don't want to overload this roster with potential suspensions and become the Cowboys or Bengals. It's bad enough Trent Williams and Fred Davis had to be stupid and get themselves on Goodell's watch list.

Solid vets:
Moss
Gaffney
+ FA signing to replace Stallworth

Young contribs:
Hankerson
Armstrong
Paul
Banks
Robinson

These guys will excel with RG3...they did OK with Grossman!

After one decent WR signing like Garcon, Royal, maybe even Wayne if his price is not sky high...we need to get 2 solid O-linemen and hopefully a safety or CB.

Then, with the draft, attack the secondary with maybe another O-lineman for potential depth.

With QB covered now, our main holes are the secondary and O-line....otherwise we're a solid team. One more WR will help, but it's not the urgent need like many are saying.

We need to:

1.) protect RG3
2.) fill out the completely empty secondary, especially safety position so that our down-field scoring attack with RG3 isn't done back to us by our opponents every game.

The number one guy for me is Winston. Sign him & Carr and I am fine. However, I suppose we need someone to play safety now ... so we should probably sign one or two of them.

I say we:

-Sign RT Eric Winston
-Sign WR Eddie Royal
-Sign WR Pierre Garcon
-Draft a CB in the 3rd round
-Im not sure what to do at both safety positions...

Get rid of armstrong, isnt he like 29 anyway?

Yea, he will be 29 in like 2 weeks. I think one of our rookie WRs from last year's draft could provide the same production plus more than what Armstrong provided us last year. Cut.

$9.90 for an "I like Rex" button?

Must be trying to save up for the legal fees they're soon to rack up.

And at 22 bucks it's such a bargain! I thought about designing my own t-shirt last year with this on it but I decided against it. Smart decision.

Re: Griffin's impact on the off-season FA/draft

I think RGIII would be a great assest to any team that will give him the chance to play. He might be young and he might need some improvements, but that's like any rookie going into the NFL. No one coming out of college and going to the NFL has no flaws whatsoever. He needs to figure out his flaws, and then work on it. Once he does that and improves it then he'll be a great football player!

They added weapons in the WRs.
Now they need to add some armor with a RT.

Well said, very true.

Re: Griffin's impact on the off-season FA/draft

According to Grant Paulsen

Had the skins NOT of drafted RG3, Garcon would have been serving his duties for the San Diego Chargers.
