In all honesty, I happen to prefer what the Redskins actually did to taking Tannehill at six.

But I have to be right about BOTH Griffin AND Tannehill. If not right about both, then I am wrong about preferring this trade.

If Griffin isn't the clear no. 1 on the depth chart in 2014 for whatever reason and Tannehill is starting in this league, this will be the worst trade in modern NFL history, and what Shanahan will ultimately be remembered for, instead of the super bowls.

So yeah, this is very much going all-in. Recklessly all-in.
C'mon Tripp .... I knew u rain on our parade ... Lol. Whatever. I'm so f'ing happy
Agreed. Just a bit too reckless for my taste right now. Like I said, Griffin had better be solid gold. Forget clear #1 by 2014; we'd better be talking Pro Bowl in 2014.
On the bright side, at least we have higher expectations for this quarterback than "worth two weeks of Doug Dutch."
Yoda? Really? I just said that when people said I was crazy for offering up (whats now nothing) a large amount of picks people said it wouldn't be that much I said it would to get it to that. That's all I was trying to say. I was gonna message you this but I can't message for some reason. Maybe you can tell me how.

So Lotus, who would you get for RG3 to throw to since we have no second rounder now?
Give it up. You didn't call anything because you did not say 3 #1's and a #2.

If your point was that Griffin would be expensive, many others said that, so why are you gloating?

Since you haven't gotten the point, let me say it in caps: DOUCHE.

I fully expect John Beck to compete with RG3 for the starting QB job..

So happy!!! I still can not even gather my thoughts...just so incredibly happy. I will wait until at least tomorrow to start praying that he's as good as advertised.
rg iii would have to be a lot better than elway, favre, young, marino, to to win with our team as it stands right now. We basically put all our eggs in one basket ala shuler way back when. Thing is if rg iii is a dud, we don't have a frerotte or trent green to at least keep us somewhat competitve. Beck and grossman suck!
believe!!!
In other news Vinny Cerrato says he would have done the same for Justin Blackmon. LOL.
Vinny might have a future as a comedian. Leave it to him to make me feel better about a Vinny-esque gamble like this.

We still didn't give up as much as Ditka. Kinda depressing to know we will not have a draft for the next couple of years.
