Damnit no, see this is the problem with being the last post in a page. Your crucial apology to prevent any further misunderstandings gets pushed back and in some cases never gets seen by the person your apologizing to. So NYC again in the off chance you weren't kidding around I'm sorry. Bad job on my part of not making sarcasm more clear.
I'll give you that. He was beastly, circa 05-07. 08-present has been spotty though. Because he's had injury problems, and hasn't looked the same on the field. He's still good as a MLB in a 4-3. But we don't even have an idea if he might be good in a 3-4, and if he wants big money, fuggedaboudit.
Yup. In each of the last 3 years his tackle numbers have dropped significantly since his early years in the league. |

250 lbs? I say sign me up. I don't get the injury concerns. I mean he's only had one season where he didn't play 15 games. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
heard Lofa wants to play in CHI
|
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3
I would think he still may visit here first.

It makes more sense for him scheme-wise. |

I'd take Chicago over here if I were him, too. Better overall team, and a scheme that he's used to. And I mean, hey, they just signed Roy Williams, so they're on the cusp of a championship. ;) |
Marc Bulger is retiring
Umm, unless you have noticed, it's rather LATE to be trying to whip someone into decent shape now. This guy truly was a bucket of lard last season; he balloned up to 350 or 360!!!!

Weight loss and gaining to someone that size is different he can shake that. This dude craps 10 pounds. And of course its "late"... we just signed people last week but now its "late". The lockout made everything "late" Obviously we won't sign him but if we have OL problems he coulda been POSSIBLY the help we need. And the Viks line wasn't BAD... maybe not Great but definetly good and good enough |

CHI is a better scheme-fit than us. But does he really want to sit and watch Urlacher play? |

Wow. I thought there were some teams interested in him. I'm sure Seattle could have used him. Oh well. |
Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

Exactly! You know he isn't going to move and Lofa has played MLB his whole career. He was voted captain his rookie year so he's always kinda been "the guy". I wonder how his ego will cope with that. I would think even though the scheme fit would be better there, his chance of starting on the inside and being able to have more of a leadership role would be enhanced here. |
