I grew up a diehard Washington fan, tough to see/comment. But lost my fandom when my friend went to pick up daughters at Daniel Snyder's house; they were at play date with Snyder's daughters.
My friend: "Thanks for having my girls over, Dan."
"It's Mr. Snyder."

Here’s a good one. I get MRSA, might lose a leg, maybe more. WFT doc refuses to treat me (another story) About to roll into operating room, Dan & Coach Gibbs show up. Dressed in tuxedos, post black tie event. Coach asks how I’m doing, [B]Dan asks if I’m gonna sue them[/B].

I've been a fan of this team for 30 years. When I was young playing playground football I had my rypien jersey on proudly, and tried to perfect throwing with my finger on the tip of the ball.
Over those 30 years, and the amount of losing seasons we have had over the last 20, this is by far the most embarrassing and dark time to be a fan of this team. I can deal with the on field garbage....but when combined with this off the field stuff, it becomes increasingly difficult to support this team in any way. I'll never follow another team...but how can one possibly support any of what is/has been going on. Very sad times for this franchise that was once very proud.

The stories you hear about Snyder are true. Dont look him in the eyes, call him Mr. Snyder if you must address him but dont address him.

Heard a story years ago and Ive said it here before

Ravens owner Steve Bischotti was hosting a party with some NFL owners and people. Dan Snyder shows up.

Steve: 'Hey Dan thanks for coming"
Mr. Snyder: 'Call me Mr. Snyder"
Steve: "GTFO here"

I dont know the exact words used but ive heard enough Snyder stories to believe this one

Makes you really wonder how he ever got Joe Gibbs to come back and coach for him...must've completely had Joe fooled...although I can't figure out how that was possible.

Because he respects Joe Gibbs and thus defers to him.

Joe Gibbs, besides being of one the all time great coaches, is also the proverbial "good man." He probably does not dislike anyone. And as a coach, he dealt with a myriad of personalities from Riggo to JT to Gary Clark to Dexter and so on. To him, Danny is just another eccentric with a bloated ego coming down the hallways.

Joe Gibbs- and most of the Redskins, past and present- [U]LIKE[/U] Danny. Danny is an ace jock-sniffer. One of the few things he is good at.

Gonna say that most players do not like Snyder. They say or said what they have to because he is the boss. Maybe thinking their is a job for them post playing career or something. Inside I am sure they think he is a pos. Gibbs is a very religious person. I doubt he has
ever said a bad word about anyone. Besides maybe Satan.
Let’s never say anything complimentary in any form about him again. Thank you. Lol
