Straight up released? Dang .. the Rams are in cap hell. Perhaps went to hard to fast in adding pieces.
Brandin Cooks you could probably get for a 3rd day draft pick but who wants to pay 17M per.
It would not surprise me if they straight up release Cooks as well. They also released Clay Matthews. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk |

They also released Clay Matthews. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
I just edited my post you quoted, appears they take on 20.1M in dead money for Gurley .. insane. I feel like this cant be right and Im missing something. Cooks release = 20.8M in dead money. They are better off calling Bill Obrien and trading Cooks and his contract for a 6th rounder. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/brandin-cooks-14429/ Of course, Bill would insist on making it a 2nd. |

His value sure dropped like a rock once those injury issues hit in the 2018 play-offs. |

Or be one, either. Seems like they have the least financial security of all NFL players while having the highest mortality rate. That is a crappy combination. |
Re: NFL Free Agent Signings 2020
Man...it sucks for Gurley. But obviously we shouldn't be investing in another RB with knee/leg injuries. I think we are maxed out there

Re: NFL Free Agent Signings 2020
Dallas signs HaHa CD
lol good luck to them.. Dallas has taken a big step back on defense |

Question, does everyone realize that Tampa Bay has a bottom 3 Oline and no run game? People already puttin them in the playoffs...I think it’s extremely short sighted at this point. |

Hopefully Brady will demand Bucs to trade for Williams, it would be win-win situation for both teams. |

Ronald Jones is a pretty good running back and they can always/quickly upgrade at that position IMO (Melvin Gordon is a free agent for example). I think Brady is the type of guy that can vastly improve an o-line due to his quick release. I had Tampa Bay as the #2 destination for Brady. Honestly, I don't know how he didn't end up with the Chargers. |
