You're talking about the Redskins. Jay isn't going to put in Haskins as a backup anymore, especially after last week. He's either the starter or in street clothes IMO.

As far as Colt goes, I just don't get it. Haskins must really be struggling in picking up the offense. The last time few times we saw Colt he threw 3 picks and the next week got hurt. But he can spit out the plays so put in out there...
To me this is the most logical thing Haskins just isn’t ready or capable right now. If Jay wanted a big FU to Snyder wouldn’t it be to play Haskins and show how much the first round pick is a project? My guess is that Jay knows his standing in the NFL vs BA and DS and is sticking to his convictions.

Fantastic analogy TMC. I have this great visual of Larry Michael spewing out the regurgitated shit that comes out of Snyder and Allen's ass.

Also I see a lot of you guys are having trouble understanding why Haskins isn't ready.

Part of it is because it's difficult adjusting from college to the NFL, especially when you only have 14 college starts. Part of it is because Jay Gruden does not tailor his offense to his personnel, which would make it easier for a rookie qb who knows nothing to come in and contribute early. And part of it is because everybody's different, some people take time to learn things.

The inconsistent footwork and needing to learn how to protect himself better are two things you can see in his on field play. On a positive note he wasn't blatantly staring down receivers or prematurely fleeing the pocket. The later two being a common flaw to guys who quickly get destroyed when film on them becomes available.

I have no problem sitting Haskins at this juncture. I just thought considering the circumstances the team needs 3 QBs eligible to play on game day.

On Vegas Insider the money line on the Redskins is as high as +850. For those that don't bet just betting the Redskins to win straight up with no point spread gets you a profit of $850 on a $100 wager.

I can't look it up as I no longer know anyone with at offshore betting account, but a lot of places will allow you to alter the point spread and it will effect the payout accordingly. If the Skins and no points is +$850 I would be curious what Redskins -14 would pay. It would have to be double that or so.

Who here reported Haskins as inactive? Sports Illustrated is reporting Keenum is inactive. After the initial slaughter I will only watch if Haskins goes in. I will listen to the radio and try to get some work and chores done. No reason to watch McCoy. I will try a different strategy and not wear any of my Redskin hats on game day.

Alimony? I wasn't dumb enough to get married. Avoided that

For all you 3-4 deniers out there:

First defensive play Kerrigan AND Sweat BOTH dropped into coverage.

This is never ever ok.
