Johns Hopkins' Dr. Marty Makary: "There's actually broad consensus now by public health officials acknowledging privately, & they're starting to say so publicly, that cloth masks have almost no impact on transmission whatsoever, and we basically have known that the entire time."

This was considered misinformation several months ago. And it’s been correct since day 1

The medical community hasn’t been honest with the public, but just how far that goes I’m sure we will find out years down the road.

Personally I am okay if we never take the masks off. Americans by nature are quite homely. If I don't have to see another face in public I will content. Furthermore with the rise of beards there are too many men walking around whose mouths look like hairy vaginas with teeth not really something I want to see. Since I can't ask a person to shave their vagina face and public mandate of mask wearing will have to do.

The mask thing is odd.

CDC knew that the only really effective mask were the N95s but since those were in such high demand for medical professionals around the world the CDC said use what you can so the N95 masks would be prioritized for the front line people.

They should have pushed the kn95 masks but those are the chinesse version of n95 so

At this point, everyone has the info they need to make their own decision. Cloth mask knowing they dont do anything? Whatever. No mask, no vax living yolo? okay.
