Top 4 guys
Corral or Ridder |
I want to like Ridder, but I'm not impressed. He gets so many stats on quick tosses to wide open guys. Very curious to see him against Bama.
I agree with what you are saying but I don't think he has the talent around him to be able judge him fairly against a powerhouse like Alabama. Wouldn't mind him in the second but not sure he will last that long. If quarterbacks slide, it is going to be interesting at the start of day 2 of the draft |

Ridder is kinda like a Josh Allen, big arm can move some just not as accurate.. I'd take him tho |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Malik Willis and Carson Strong will muddy the water further, I don't want either of them but hope that a couple of front offices fall in love with them and let other guys slip

The one thing they say does not improve from college to pro is accuracy. If he is inaccurate now he will continue to be |

Yeah I mean Allen got somewhat better and is now a stud but he's a rare exception. |

I think Allen's success is going to get even more teams to gamble. If it worked for him it can work again. I am not so bold a risk taker. |

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I want nothing to do with Malik Willis. He comes from a suspect program that plays borderline competition. Didn't we draft a bif wide receiver out of Liberty 2 yeas ago? How has that worked out? I agree that we need a QB but we should not waste a first round pick on a prospect as marginal as Willis.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
What makes Willis intriguing is he’s like Trey Lance, big arm and can move. But he’s not pro ready. I want a guy that is ready to go

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Between our history of drafting quarterbacks and this particular class of them I hate the idea of taking one too early.

Focus on offense. Defensive performance is so variable from game to game let alone season to season. Offensive success is far easier to measure. How many first round picks do we have playing defense? Yet we all know key to success is consistent offensive play and we have woefully ignored that |

MLB S/CB OLine Quarterback is totally up in the air. All depends on where. I feel like if we had good linebackers and another safety we would be in the playoffs right now even with our offense not firing on all cylinders. In free agency go after the best TE, to go with Logan. That is an absolute must in our offense. Also a work horse RB. Maybe a K too. I think our wr corp will be fine. Our d line is fine. Do not reach on a quarterback if there is a stud Linebacker available. |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I'm OK with Pickett, Corral, and Howell in the 1st.
And Ridder, Strong, Willis, and Armstrong in the 2nd. We need to pull the trigger on a QB. |
