Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
went to TMZ lol, its fine to disagree, i dont really care. I think you over estimate the depth of so called conspiracy. Its easy why they'd keep quiet, they get paid way too much already to be part time employees, and thats what they are, employees. Mo Money, Mo Problems, for us on gameday.
It's already a league wide mandate that no one is to throw a flag when Ryan Kerrigan gets choke slammed, yet i see flags on every other screen at the bar whilst watching on Sundays for similar infractions. They call it the way they call it for a reason, why we dont KNOW FOR SURE what that reason is - is beyond our pay grade as fans. Its pretty simple in the end, the official have and always will treat this team like shit and make it look they are not guilty of favoritism. #SellTheTeamDan |
Nah. We get the least holding calls in the history of the league and it's the most blatant bullshit I've ever seen. Now wear the damn tinfoil.
Lol. The Universal constants of The Warpath 1.Conspiracy theories abound 2. Schneed will insult someone's intelligence on every thread 3. Chico will drop an F bomb on every thread 4. After every loss Punch will vow never to watch the Redskins play again |

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Every fan base thinks the league is out to get them and every sports writer is biased against them
Just look at the Saints home crowd last week with about half the crowd wearing ref shirts [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

LOL. My daughter in law watching her Seahawks is like "Look at all the f*!king holding! Wheres the flag?"
And I'm like, "Honey, he's the ball carrier, I think it's okay this time." |

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
I don't believe the officials are out to get the Redskins. Jay Gruden's teams are generally undisciplined, with enough penalties to get into the top 25% of the most penalized teams in the NFL in 2018. Maybe it's just the style of the team's playcalling, or the way he addresses penalty issues with players after the game; or keeping high penalty players like Morgan Moses in the game.
I don't think its luck. Highly disciplined teams like the Patriots are low in penalties on 2018. |
Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Again, our TEs blocking still is an issue in the run game, ie VD on this play... no run game expert but if he blocks his guy it seems like it could've been a solid gain.

It’s a major issue
Good to know. .. sometimes I feel like I hate too much on him ^^ But when I saw this play on the all 22 I was like this is not me, that's piss poor effort. |
Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here

^^^^Look at where he lined up presnap. There is a huge gap between TE and RT. TE lined ups outside shoulder of a defender he has to prevent from going inside. He no chance to block him where lined up. Not just effort, it lack of intelligence and coaching.

I been watching for over 50, since I was about 5. I was playing in High School when they made the head slap illegal. Our line coach taught guys to grab their own jersey when engaged with a defender to avoid illegal use of hands calls. I think it would be a kick to have a game refereed by 1970's interpretation of the rules nowadays. Do a couple games a year like that without pre-warning. |
