Re: Around the NFL Week 1.
Eli did well , he started off 11 for 11 but O line penalties and dropped balls(Engram alone dropped 3 very good pass's) did them in. He got pressured in the 2nd half and threw a pass that was tipped and picked off for 6.
Barkley had negative yardage to start but then had a few decent carries. His big one was a 68 yard TD run on the right sideline. The Defense got better in the 2nd half but I admit that was without Fournette .They played better and I think will be better but it will be a slow start. Definitely a TEAM loss.
Your OL is trash, they need to pick it up or it's going to be another long season. Flowers is terrible. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1.
I’m so happy we can finally stop talking about the Cowboys Oline...every fucking time I hear the so called experts talk about the Boys it’s always how dominant the Line is...
They got their ass handed to them all game....the rookie is terrible, Collins is garbage and they are gonna miss the center. I’m still gloating how the eagles came in and took that TE pick in the second round from the cowboys....they don’t have shit at TE....they turned around and took that garbage Oline man from Texas and Jerry said they were taking him all along and not the TE... |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1.
I think the Cowboys are in real trouble. They have no one to throw to and Dak simply isn't a guy that can carry a passing game.

Actually was angry they kept him as right tackle, and he is definitely right to be angry. But Solder got several key penalties too, part of it is that Jax defensive line is crazy tough.

Love to see other teams go through some bullshit like that. |

We've seen Aaron Rodgers bring the Packers back from huge deficits in the past, so when he came back into the game in the second half, I knew the Bears were in trouble. A 20-0 lead seems huge, but it really isn't. Not when you're playing Aaron Rodgers. Noticed I said playing Aaron Rodgers and not the Packers. The Packers are nothing without him. Cleveland is just sad. Their only saving grace is that they didn't lose. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1.
The Browns came from behind to force OT, I think there's more positive than negatives when looking at them. I'd be more worried about the Steelers blowing a 14 point lead and missing a FG to win in OT. And can we get rid of ties please?? Terrible.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1.
Browns are much improved, I still think they could win 8 games

how do you get 5 Turnovers and not win? They were a fuckin trainwreck on offense for 3 1/2 quarters. |

They'd still be playing. That was a game that no one seemed destined to win. I loved that the Steelers were jubilant when they didn't lose in OT with the field goal was blocked. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.... |

Flowers was terrible. I'm surprised he didn't get benched. |

That said, they really don't have any threats at WR or TE so they can just focus on stopping the run and dare Zak to throw. It's a good strategy and one I'd employ. |
