No, what it looks like is a company admitting a mistake and correcting it.Doesn't prove fake media ,proves that CNN has a process that was not followed and the journalist that screwed up are paying the price for their mistakes.Actually shows integrity.

Ok, so, what is exactly is the right move in this situation? Let's skip the fact that the right move is not publishing the article in the first place, you've just been caught and you have two options. Option A is fire the journalists, admit the wrongdoing, and let the public decide whether you can regain their trust. Option B =

Or in laments terms, you grovel at the feet of those you wronged, and come out and say "yes we're fake news (whatever the f that means)" thus tanking the value of your multinational news corporation that employs thousands of people.

More Fake News by the NY Times...this time they are being sued:

While Im no Palin fan...far from it...this actually didn't happen. This was the left attempt to say "hey look we can make up attempts by the GOP to incite political violence" which didn't happen.

But this is clearly fake news that the Times corrected the next day, but that's too late these days because it circulates in Alt-left bubble board, media sites which it becomes fact.

Fake news is being committed regularly by left leaning supposed "unbiased" journalists. Like it or not, this is a war on Trump and the GOP as a whole by news orgs.
