That's what rich people with 100's of millions of dollars in the bank are allowed to do. Dez Bryant is well off with $5 million, but he should also keep in mind that that $5 million or whatever he earned is possibly a lifetime worth of income for him. Never know when injuries....or bill collectors will stop by.

That's not what every rich person does, and I'm pretty sure Bryant wasn't rich for most of his life

I would agree not every rich person does. But whenever a uber wasteful expenditure is made like 250K for a painting, or 300k for a platinum grill, or something else equally moronic, 99.9% of the time it's a rich person that does it.

Cowboys should have put a multitude of people in place around Dez to support and mentor him right from the start, and also had a plan in place to have someone on his hip even in the event of a lockout.

I think Dez has the talent to be the best WR in the league. That said, I hope this blows up their face.

I don't know about the lockout part but my understanding is that the Boys did exactly that. But apparently, just like with Pacman, the babysitters could not control a giant baby.
