2009 Practice squad

Looks like five have been signed that leaves a few more spots. No Chase yet...of my gosh. What is this club thinking about..lol

Posted at 3:30 PM ET, 09/ 6/2009 Five for the Practice Squad

Safety Lendy Holmes, defensive end Rob Jackson, wide receiver Trent Shelton, defensive end J.D. Skolnitsky and fullback Eddie Williams have been named to the Redskins' practice squad.
Antonio Dixon, cut yesterday by the team, has been picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Re: 2009 Practice squad

I'm fine with that. Holmes played well, we'll need Eddie Williams if something happens to Sellers, and Shelton and Jackson have upside. Don't know about Skolnitsky.

That turd is not gonna be a Drew Brees. I do prefer him over Colt, however.

Re: 2009 Practice squad

I thought Dixon did enough to make the roster but I think he was the victim of a crowded depth chart. I'm just disappointed the Eagles snatched him up because I would've loved to have him on the practice squad. Sucks about Daniel going to NO too but that's the biz for ya.
