Re: In Gus I Trust

I am going to go with Trent Green on this one. I think he IS and could have been a great Redskin QB.

Re: In Gus I Trust

I always look back on Green as one that got away. He could have been the face of this franchise for the last decade.

Re: In Gus I Trust

I think it's Patrick Ramsey. Gibbs should have stuck with him instead of Brunell. I mean Spurrier totally screwed Ramsey over, and I mean he didn't have any receivers to throw to. I just wish Gibbs had given the kid a shot. I mean, c'mon, he pulled the guy in the Bears game before he really got going. You saw it!! So unfair!! So unfair! I tell you what, I'm ending on this, if Ramsey were still here, he'd give JC a run for his money. I mean, answer this one question, is the franchise that much better off since Ramsey left? The answer is clearl "NO"! So then tell me this, and I'm done, why did we get rid of him then? I think had Ramsey still been here, Al Saunders could have helped him become more efficient. But noooooooo, we have to bench him for Mr. Dink and Dunk!!! Unbelievable. I'll you tell you what, I swear this is it, I hope Ramsey lights up in Cleveland this year. I mean, at least he has a good center snapping the ball to him!!

Re: In Gus I Trust

Mark Brunell. If Washington could've picked him up just eight or nine seasons ago, they'd have had a legitimate starting quarterback...

Re: In Gus I Trust

Trent Green has to be our What if.

Other great What if's are:
What if Favre stayed in Atlanta?
What if Minnesota said No to Dallas?

NBA Version
What if Jordan's father wasn't murdered?

Keenan McCardell. His career has exactly spanned our era of discontent. Also, Paul Krause had about 60 pickles after he left D.C.

Easy Choices:
Rich Gannon,Trent Green and Stan Humphries.
Keenan McCardell.

Sleeper:
Skip Hicks or Reggie Brooks. Flashes of brilliance but just couldnt do it consistently.
