Cowboys went undefeated

The cowboys went undefeated in the preseason, so they are going to be great this year, right? Basically the opposite of the redskins, of course. We all know that whatever happens during the preseason is exactly what is going to happen during the season, so...

With those FACTS, there could be NO WAY the Cowchips would lose to Jacksonville, right? I mean, undefeated in the preseason means the Dolphins may be in trouble this year because their undefeated team is going to have company, right?

Preseason means nothing. After week 2 games begin, no one mentions or cares about preseason games because they know they mean nothing. Folks look back to week one at any point in the season, but never to preseason.

Enough already, the season has begun...lets discuss games that matter, games that have the best players playing, games that coaches plan for, games that count.

Preseason in general has made me feel better after looking at the rest of the NFL.

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

we need to win over minessota

there is no use of juking the cowboys without this win

then we will make them 0-2 on week 2

carolina makes an effort to win preseason games too, and that worked for them as well.

Yeah I went over to a Cowboys board I am a part of, they were a bit pissed just to see me, even though I didn't say anything bad at all. Just trying to talk football, and their panties were in a bunch, a bit funny actually. They are all super pissed, there are multiple threads titled "Hang Bledsoe" etc. It is crazy everyone wants Bledsoe out and Romo in.

It's no different than what would happen on this board if Brunell threw 3 picks and cost the game. We would all be screaming for Campbell.

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

Preseason isn't about winning game. It's about executing simple gameplans, something Dallas did and we didn't.

Tonight we see if our offense has an on/off switch. I sure hope it does.

Kneejerk reactions are common to fans of all teams. Doesn't make it any less retarded. Clamoring for Romo after one game is just as stupid as clamoring for Campbell after one game would be.

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

The best thing about the Boy's loss is the impact to the mental side of things. The fans will scream for # 2 Romo, further ripping Bledsoe's confidence. TO will no doubt have something neg to add. Bill cannot stand the int's. The Jag's demonstrated the reason Bledsoe is not in New England. Pop him a couple of times and he goes color blind. Perhaps, it's as Brett says "maybe we just ain't that good"
Ready for the Skins to drive another nail in their coffin. It's hard to believe as THEY HAD SUCH A GOOD PRE-SEASON

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

Does anyone else think that Dallas losing against Jax makes them a more dangerous opponent next Sunday?

They are going to have a fire in their belly to get back to .500 and to prove that week 1 was a fluke. I am thinking that this loss woke them up to the fact that just signing TO does equal more wins, you still have to execute. Parcells isn't a HOF worthy coach because he doesn't know how to motivate teams. I am very weary of this team and I think we are fooling ourselves if we believe it's going to take less than our "A-game" to leave Dallas with a victory next week, IMHO.

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

Time to jump into the fire, first post. The thing I enjoyed most was seeing how bad the Dallas O-line performed and how terrible their blitz pickups were. GWill will release the hounds on them next week and we should see Romo by the second half either by injury or benching. As for the preseason, in my mind, its over with and I'm ready to see this offense roll.

Re: Cowboys went undefeated

Because of the rivalry, both teams will be bringing their A game regardless of what happens this week.

Dallas will be ready. You can bet on that.
