Really.......love this kid.
I nearly cried when I saw what we gave to trade up for him but everything I have seen and read since has made me believe it was a wise and savvy move.
Can't wait........

Of course there won't be much trickeration in the playbook for RGII. Rex can't run worth $#!^.

The lure of RG3: Redskins teammates will flock to Waco (really) for a summer workout - NFL.com

Quote:
“I’m going to go back and work out with some of my teammates who are coming into town with me to Waco,” Griffin III told me. “So, it’ll be a busy time, but I’m gearing up for this long year that I know it’s going to be in the NFL with long season and the type of grind I have to be ready to go through.”

Griffin III still has an apartment in Waco, where he attended Baylor University. So, he’ll live out his time there, but he won’t do it alone. As for names, the Heisman Trophy winner dropped Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Anthony Armstrong, Aldrick Robinson, Fred Davis, Brandon Banks, and others who will join him.
RGIII wouldn’t say whose idea it was — “I don’t know who can take credit for it,” he said.

“But we knew we needed to get together,” Griffin told me. “I offered that they could come to Waco. We got workout facilities and everything. Shockingly, I convinced them to come to Waco, Texas, because not everybody wants to do that. I think next year we’ll do it somewhere more flashy, more vacation-like. Miami or Los Angeles, because I won’t have an apartment in Waco to move out of. But those guys made the sacrifice to come down and see me. So, it’s great that we’re already starting off on the right foot. … All those guys are coming down to throw. For those guys to show that they’re willing to come to Waco, Texas to workout with me lets me know they believe in me.“
And the team. Definitely a positive for the ‘Skins.

Don't be surprised if Griffin makes the pro bowl his first year in the NFL. Every rookie QB undergoes growing pains, but RG3 could be good enough right now where he would not only play brilliantly, but win MVP. I'm not predicting that this will happen, of course. But we shouldn't be surprised if this does happen.

With the likes of Rodgers, Brees, Cam, Stafford, Eli, Vick, etc. in the NFC, I'd be surprised if he made it as anything other than an alternate.

This kid is gonna make me back off my Snyder-induced moratorium against purchasing new Skins gear. I'm needing an RG3 jersey!!!

Vick and Stafford will be hurt or at least banged up at year end.

Rodgers will skip the game if they're in the SB or even NFC Championship.

Brees, we'll see if he starts the year and we'll also have to see how bad the Saints are missing so many key players.

Pro Bowl NFC QBs - Griffin, Newton, Manning, Ryan/Bradford!

Meh, not worried about Pro-bowl or stats
I Just hope Griff stays healthy and improves with each game

Damn right, health is a key for me.

Also, I bet 50$ on the skins to win the NFC and 50$ for them to win the SB in Vegas when I went in February so, them winning the SB and getting me an extra 2800$ would be fantastic!

I expect of offense to look a lot like Carolina's did last year, regardless of what RGIII says.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see some option concepts, but I don't think that is what they mean by trickeration.

Option concepts are sound football concepts, to me trickerations are trick play/gimmick plays.

Well, specifically I was referring to this quote from RGIII

"there’ll be little tricks here and there, but the majority of our offense will be throwing the ball and running the ball with power."
