The Pro Bowl Thread

I thought it would be nice to have a Pro Bowl thread. I just saw this posted by Peter King from the folks at PFF:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...ster-2012-nfc/

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...ster-2012-afc/

I think it is nice to see three offensive players (RG3, Morris, and Monty) being considered by some of the sports people out there as Pro Bowl players.

Re: The Pro Bowl Thread

Not intending to hijack thread, but every year when PB voting comes around my blood boils about London getting screwed. Did anyone else notice during the Cleveland game when they compared stats between Ray and London? Nearly identical, though London averages 6-7 more tackles per season and Ray has 5-6 more total sacks, yet Ray's been to more than double the PBs.

PB is meaningless IMHO.

Such a shame that RG3 will have to decline the probowl invitation this year... Guess the SB ring will make up for it

Yep but Ray has; 2 more defensive player of the year awards, one more super bowl mvp award and and one murder on London

I love London and what he has done for this team and his career, but Ray Lewis was cleared of those charges. He plead guilty to obstruction of justice. Unless you were there you have no idea of what transpired. When people get caught up in bad situations they make careless decisions. Is he totally innocent...probably not, but the legal system has cleared him of murder. I think we should honor that.

well we won't have to worry this year as he has not played at a prow bowl level . . . the last few games he has been much better, but as much as i love me some Fletcher he is not the same player he used to be . . .

I was joking. Hence why there was a laughing smiley face after that statement.

Yes Ray Lewis is a better LB than London, but I think that London is deserving of the hall of fame as much as ray is. London was playing on bad teams and/or bad defensive teams, which wouldn't get him as much notoriety as Ray Lewis did.
