I think that we still have a VERY good shot at Smoot. I think he wants to see if he gets any big offers, and give Washington the chance to match it. I feel he wants to be in Washington, but like many players will go where the money takes him. If it's Dallas... I have a feeling there will be a mass suicide among skins fans!

if smoot gets too high of an offer to match from another team and team officials sending out signals that most if not all signings will be pretty low key, makes me wonder if maybe they might sign someone like Ken Lucas, Anthony Henry or Andre Dyson as opposed to a Rolle or Law type signing.

It's not too late. If Smoot chooses to leave, maybe Ken Lucas will sign with us. I don't want to get any older at the CB position. Not that the young guys stay injury free.

Overall, we don't look to bad. I'm strongly in favor of us trading down from #9 for a late first round and a second. That alone will set us up for possibly drafting WR Troy Williamson and DE Matt Roth. Both favorites of mine.
