Gamespot: A look at the next gen Madden

Madden 2006

I'm almost looking forward to these commercials more than the draft itself!

it looks almost like the Final Fantasy movie except with football. I can't wait to see the first screen shot of a skin in action. :headbange

Re: Gamespot: A look at the next gen Madden

I hope that they finally get rid of players walking threw one another after a play is over. I have to say that I am/was a big fan of the NFL 2K series, but since those days are over I guess I will be forced back to madden.

I did just recently pick up Madden 2005 the collectors ed. I like the offseason stuff, and how you are in control of the team more, but the quality of the game play really is not that good. In my opinion if they would be able to combine NFL 2K game play with Madden's off-season controls, that would make for one hell of a football game!!!!

By the way I dont want to open the can of worms reguarding as to which game is better I think that we beat that to death in another thread....

Re: Gamespot: A look at the next gen Madden

I guess it all depends on personal preference. I've tried to get into the 2K series and I just can't.

Too bad we won't have a choice anymore, hopefully the combination of ESPN and Madden will result in a higher quality game for all.

Can't wait to see those commercials today!

it looked kewl but I just don't know if that's actual gameplay footage or cinematics. did like the huddle features and the sack cam.
