2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

I'm pulling for a Browns vs. Lions Super Bowl. I'll pick a new favorite(s) as those teams get eliminated.

2 fan bases who couldn't be more deserving.

Those would be fun stories. Although if they both make it to the superbowl it might set off Armageddon

I would absolutely love it if that was the case.

And it would be oh so sweet knowing that Flacco would be the one taking the Browns to the big game instead of Tuggy Watson.

As usual I find myself rooting for the teams who deserve it the most in the playoffs. Hopefully next year we can add the Commies to that list.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

My thread apparently got lost in the sauce today so I'm reposting this here.

Nice

Some really cool matchups this weekend.

Dolphins at Chiefs - Tyreek Hill homecoming
Packers at Cowboys - Mike McCarthy vs. the guy who replaced him
Browns at Texans - Tuggy Watson watches his new team play his old team
Rams at Lions - The Goff/Stafford reunion tour

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

A shocker in Seattle: Pete Carroll is expected to be out as the Seahawks head coach, per sources. He still could remain in the organization, but not as the head coach.

That came out of nowhere. I saw that they are interested in Dan Quinn.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

Just to point out, for those that aren't a fan of "retreads", how did Pete Carroll work out? Not too shabby.

the retread argument is kind of weak; most job postings anywhere require experience

Gotta be Quinn and I believe this is probably a mutual parting with Carroll saying it’s time, he’s pretty damn old.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

I'd class a retread was a guy with a poor to mediocre history that keeps getting a new chance. Carroll isn't a retread.
