Jason Campbell Says He Blacked Out After Hit on Final Drive

Well if this is a concussion JC will miss next wk's game vs New Orleans (although it really doesn't matter). So could we see Rich Bartel next sunday?

Why not Todd Collins?

Well, the season is over and there must be a reason they picked this guy up. With that said, it will be Collins, but if I were the owner I would cut all the dead wieght. Players like Wynn, and Daniels, and bring up Skulnitzski and Jackson. I would make sure we did not win another game this year, so we can draft the player that we want.

JC may not be a GREAT QB, but U won't find a better competitor out there.. That guy gives it 100% all game every game..

Yes you are right and so is that idiot Jenkins, but what you and her are not seeing is the QB position need greatness to make a great team.

Again LOL I know we need another QB and I can't wait until he is gone... I was just saying he gives it his all.

Yup. Can't say that about Cutler. JC is solid, not spectacular. But honestly, how many spectacular QB's are out there? A handful. And how many of them would succeed with our paltry receiving corps, confused playcalling, and dreadful offensive line? If we're not switching systems, we're ignoring the awful O-line that's supposed to protect him.

I don't think he'll ever be a great QB, even with the ideal circumstances, but he's better than people give him credit for.

IF he gave 100% his winning percentage as a starting QB would be much better. As for being a great competitor, big deal. I remember Gus getting props from opposing LBs or Dbs a few times in the paper during his good years(95'-96'). If you make the elite as a NFL starting QB you are a competitor. Matt Stafford is a competitor also, and on 9/27/09 with a relatively healthy team around him, the rook on the worst team in football schooled JC.

Well, if there's one thing you can't knock Campbell for, it's toughness and resiliency. That's why I "facepalmed" your comment. Didn't seem like you were kidding. If you were, cool. If not, I mean, all you really have to do is watch how many times he gets right back up after getting squashed. If nothing else, he's a tough dude.

Oh I wasn't kidding. Now if the man was actually hurt then I do feel bad for him. It's just that it happened to come off what looked a lot softer than the other hits that he was taking and for him to lay down like that after a missed opportunity seemed a little coincidental. Facepalm it if that's how you feel, and I can understand that. I'm just saying for me, it's kinda like the guy that you bowl with and everytime he gets a gutter or misses an easy spare he looks down at his hand like it hurts. That's all.

He is a tough guy I'll give him that. He plays Philly extremely well though.

He has shown time and time again that he doesn't have the leadership skills to be the future QB. If a QB throws 2 ints and wins the game with a late minute drive, he's a playmaker and leader. JC has not lead this team on a winning drive as long as I can remember. Even with time to throw in the pocket he ovethrows Moss, Randle El and Davis on play action plays. Pathetic. Just like last week.

Hey I'm not saying we should keep JC... I hope we go out and draft a QB or get a young qb through FA.. But JC is a gamer and you cant say he doesn't give it his all.
