How About McCardell?

Man, the guy has been here all of 6 days and made 2 big plays in the passing game and I saw at least one block on a Portis run. I gotta give props to the vet coming in and contributing immediately.

Agreed.

Just goes to show you that Lloyd and Caldwell must suck something awful that a guy that's been here 6 days has a better outing.
McCardell is a class act, and knows this game...glad to have him here.

Re: How About McCardell?

Took him 16 years to finally do something for the Redskins. Maybe Lloyd just needs to be patient

Re: How About McCardell?

Lloyd got a catch! I repeat, Lloyd caught a ball today! McCardell has always been a baller and it really doesn't take much for a vet like him to get with the program quickly.

I dont think it has anything to do with the performance of Caldwell, McCardell is one of the better recievers in league history.

Re: How About McCardell?

he is number 3 and Carlos not only held on but he scored he actually made a break on the ball. That is amazing.

I does have something to with the performance of Caldwell and Lloyd, but it also does have something to do with the fact that McCardell is a great WR.

I'm ready to announce him our #3 right now. He's still very productive, and he showed with a little more knowledge of the offense, he can be a serious threat.

We broke a lot of conceptions today.
Lloyd gets a catch.
McCardell on the team for 6 days gets 2 catches.
We had a pass rush.
We had 5 sacks.
We had 2 interceptions.
Carlos hung on to a ball. (we all knew he could run)
Gibbs and CO. decided to throw first, run second!
The defense holds one of the best offenses in the league to 3 points!
The defense holds a great passing QB to only 106 yards. (technically team had only 46 net yards passing)

A lot to be proud of today!

Yeah they are...so nice to get a sure thing for a change. I get tired of sitting at the edge of my seat for 30 minutes and HOPING we win. This was a no doubter.
A lot of people have said the Lions were really not very good...I am hoping it was because we were THAT good, and not that they were THAT bad.

Re: How About McCardell?

Let's hope he's not needed as #1 against the Packers. Perfect #3 right now. Wish we could have signed him in the summer. He's still got it.
Thrash 4 and Caldwell 5?

I guarentee Moss plays next week. He looked good in pregame warm ups but was kept out of the game to give him one more week to rest cause we need him for the rest of the season.
Question is whether ARE will be available?
