World Series

I can't believe I'm watching Baseball and enjoying it. Great World Series so far. Hope Philly wins next game and makes it a seven game series.

Werth tearing it up too. Howard is stinking it up thus far though...he's due for a monster game.

I'm telling you, Howard has to break out before it's over with. I think NY will get their money's worth next game.

Re: World Series

It is the end of the road for Philly now. I am Red sox fan and if I didn't know any Philly fans I would cheer for the Phillies but their fan base is so horrible that I just have to root against them. I currently only know one Yankees fan and he is pretty cool and low key about it all.

My friend lives right outside Frankfurt Ave (pretty much the heart of Philly) and win or lose they riot on that street. She told me I couldn't come visit her during the Series cause even if I had Go Phillies written all over my car, just because I had DC tags, they'd trash my car.

All I can think is that Phillies fans and Eagles fans are probably two of the worse fan bases in sports.

I hate the Yankees more though. To me they = the Cowboys of baseball.

F all your faces, I'm a big Phillies fan.

Passionate and definitely brash and rude. But I guarantee you a more knowledgeable fan base when it comes to baseball than most in the nation. Boston, NY, and St Louis are all very knowledgeable as well.

Nope.

Fault of the stupid World Baseball Classic that ruined several starting pitchers.

That needs to be trashed or moved to after the season.

I had predicted NY in 6...looking good.

LOL!

In reality, I think the playoffs are way too drawn out (the NBA knows something about this). Especially early on. These guys spend months playing 162 games, sometimes playing as many as 7 or so games in a row. Suddenly the playoffs come around and they are getting every other day off? That's not how the season is played, and it's not how the playoffs should be.

Glad this is over. Time for Phillies fans to go riot.
