Anyone play this yet? I was wondering how it compares to Guitar Hero.

Re: Rock Band

I was looking at YouTube of people doing the drums and it looks amazing.

Unlike Guitar Hero, I bet if you mastered the drums on this you'd actually be pretty good in real life at drums.

yeah they say if you can master these drums you should be able to handle basic drumming on a real kit

I think for the drums alone this game looks worth picking up

Re: Rock Band

This is going to get to the point that people are actually composing original music on the 360...

Re: Rock Band

Guys, I have this one and got it for my daughter. It is nothing short of FANTASTIC! If you are going to go at it alone, it is not as fun as GHIII. But when you put all the pieces together and there are 3 or 4 of you playing it is a BLAST!

The guitar is cheap, and mine is currently being replaced for free by EA. The drums are very sturdy and hold up well to a good beating. The song selection is awesome!

Btw, I have a website that I host dedicated to 360 gaming and some other content of the adult nature. Please come by and check it out. IT IS SFW because the other content is not accesible unless I have given access.

360 Junkies Home

Come by and get involved in our gaming community!

FYI - I am flskinshost on that site.

Re: Rock Band

Just read today that Metallica has signed with Rock Band to release their next single exclusive to Rock Band as downloadable content. Very interesting angle I suppose.

Remember, check out my gaming site at 360 Junkies Home.

Re: Rock Band

I like the huge variety in songs. I'm getting the game for Christmas (apparently it's already on backorder) and I'm pretty excited. Most people seem to greatly enjoy RB over GH3
