Question Damn shirt...

Anyone know if I can get the name off the back of my Skins shirt? It's a replica anniversary shirt with the rubberised lettering. The # is OK (24) but I would like, if possible to remove the name. It's currently got an ex Redskin on the back and I'd like to replace it with Springs if poss.

Alright, i did this with my ferotte, shuler, and Westbrook and B. Mitchell Jerseys. You see how the name like on a peice of fabric of its own, sown onto the jersey. What you are gonna wanna do, is get a pair of scicors, small and CAREFULLLY cut where the name "plate" is sown to the jersey. It comes off very easily and really dosent look bad at all after your finished. That was pretty broad so if you have questions lemme know

I could try that, but I think it's a 'cheap' version (it's at home so I can't check) without the panel.

I might try getting some fabric and sewing it over the top.... :|

if you take it to a place that prints jerseys they can probably take the name plate off and replace it pretty easily

In the spirit of Danny Snyder, you could buy a new one for a lot of cash, and give the sports shop the draft rights to your unborn children. Keep the old shirt as "dead money." ;>)

Tailor, anyone?

Tailor anyone? Do they have them over on the other side of the pond?
Or is it pronounced Taylor?

I suggest you offer to pay by weight.
It should weigh less than a pound! Eh, what!

Let me know what kind of material it is and I might be able to help. Where I work some guys have to do that type of thing every now and then. I can ask them the best way of going about it.

I just got my daughter a Champ jersey for her B-day in June. She also has a Terry Allen and I have a Westbrook. Hope we can get them all fixed!!!
This is a great post, I've been wondering how to fix these for several years. Hope someone comes up with a good answer.
