Skins contact Chargers about #1 Pick

It was just on Sportscenter that Snyder contacted the Chargers to inquire about the #1 pick. The Chargers said the call was just to talk about football matters. I wonder what this means?

My guess it that it means it's just standard to inquire about the no. 1 overall pick because you never know what the Chargers might be asking for. It's standard in every sport, especially when there is no clear cut no. 1 choice, to inquire about what the team would want in exchange for the no. 1 pick

I think that the talk about Snyder and the Chargers discussion is the results of a slow news day in the NFL.

lol, it seems like this has been an insanely busy month. But I guess thats just our brains churning through possabilities. I guess it has been pretty slow after the first week of free agency. Next week should be exciting, along with the week after. Then its slow until June 1st. Except for occassional camp news.

Anyone know when our next camp is?

I haven't received word from the Redskins yet on the exact dates for their next minicamp, but there's supposed to be one sometime in May.

I'm getting sick of all the trade rumors. Sure this organization will do what's best with the pick, albeit the short run. Can't see them drafting for the long haul when it's the WIN NOW mindset. Just wish this draft drama was over.

Honestly, id rather have the owners and think that my team is doing something then be a team that hasnt heard anything that will probably just pick whoever when their picks comes around.
