Giants pre game

Lucas is out, Coleman full time at Tackle

Just play our game. JD5 farther along from the injury, let’s open it up and play smart in the red zone

Hey, this defense is really playing much better the last couple weeks. I’m really liking what I’m seeing in the secondary and I think more Newton/Mathis over Allen could be a positive.

For all things good in the world, please no red-zone penalties!! And also, no illegal downfield penalties altogether. The flags are dragging our offense down lower than they could be.

Re: Giants pre game

Really want to just beat the shit out of them... after the hysterics of last week I'd love a solid win by double digits or more. Please.

Re: Giants pre game

Teams that aspire to great things beat bad teams. The Giants are a bad team, although they have some very good pieces on defense and a WR who is going to be a problem for us for a long time. But they can be run on (oddly, bad run defense even with a good DL), and the short passing game to get the ball to guys in space could be very effective. Would love to see McCaffrey and Ekler have big games; I feel like they're under-utilized. D needs to keep the positive momentum.

If there ever was a letdown spot, this is it. Giants are going to play hard, even though they suck.

I will always be nervous playing the Giants until we win 3 in a row against them. They can absolutely beat us. They shouldn't but they can.

Re: Giants pre game

When was the last time this team was 7 - 2? I almost want to pick against them just because that looks and feels so foreign to me.

But, I think this week we find out - for sure - exactly what this team is all about. Zero chance they lose to the Giants this week. I think it's more likely that they win by three or more touchdowns, and embarrass the Giants at home.

40-16

Taking over the #1 seed in the NFC to begin the 2nd half of the season.

Re: Giants pre game

There should be no fear in that locker room the rest of the regular season. They've proved their worth against better teams than any they'll play against at least until the playoffs. Take nothing for granted, but prepare to win every week. The Eagles and maybe the Falcons are the only teams I'd be wary about. They're a better team than the first Giants game, and even then had we had TDs instead of FGs that game would have been over before it was. I'd love to see Tranny picked off and sacked all day long, and the O marching up and down the field.

I want to prolong the enjoyment of tripping in this new dreamscape. So I’m approaching this as another trap game. Once we start expecting to win, we’ll turn all cranky when we don’t go 15-2

Re: Giants pre game

A total beatdown of the Giants today gets that last teeny, tiny bit of Snyder stank off of us. This team has been an absolute fucking joy to watch this year, and I say we finally blow out the Giants (when's the last time that happened?!). Commanders 35, Giants 21 (late game garbage time TD).

One thing I've noticed, if we go up first, teams have a really hard time catching up to us. To that end, I always want us taking the ball first because our defense plays 100000 times better when we're up even just a touchdown.

Re: Giants pre game

Nice to see the injury report is only showing Lucas as definitely out, although it'd be good to see Robinson playing. We've noticeably avoided the major injury bug so far (touch wood!), and I wonder how much of that is down to the organisation. Better coaching? Better training and medical teams? Long may it last.

LOL sooo true about turning cranky eventually. Man there isn’t a fan in the world that would not have signed up for 6-3. With that being said 7-2 here we come. I think the Giants D is good. Dexter Lawrence is an absolute beast. I am thinking like 23-13 us. It will be close until late in the game.
