The Best of Vinny

Same idea as the Worst of Vinny. His single best roster move in his two years as EVP.

Was it drafting Brian Orakpo?

Maybe it was signing Hunter Smith?

Finding Chris Horton in the 7th round?

Resurrecting Mike Williams' career?

I think Orakpo hands down.

Re: The Best of Vinny

Fletcher and Orakpo hands down... Also DT and F Davis were very good picks, both of those guys are our future playmakers. Vinny made pretty solid picks just never had enough... Was SEAN his pick also?

There's never been any "best of" in Vinny.

Can't think of anything. We should have stopped new Vinny threads with the Worst of Vinny thread.

On second thought, the best of Vinny is when he waved bye bye on his way out of town.

I say Hunter Smith. Our punter situation, so long a nightmare, has been very satisfactorily stabilized.

I would like to say Orakpo, too, but Vinny had a first round pick for that one. Getting Hunter required some smarts, not just a #13 pick.

Wasn't Sean Taylor who Gibbs wanted? Or was that Vinny

Re: The Best of Vinny

Jeremy Jarmon might be Vinny's best move. If J.Jarmon played his senior to the way many expected he could easily go in the first round maybe before Shu but we will never no. Jarmon for a third rounder this year that will be his best move.

Re: The Best of Vinny

The best of Vinny is drafting Orakpo at #13 overall? How can you go wrong that early in the draft?
