RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season

Includes passing yards by a rookie, passer rating by a rookie, TD/INT ratio by a rookie, completions/interception ratio by any QB (rookie or veteran), and more.

This kid is beyond special.

I think I'm already taking RG3 for granted a little bit. He's off the charts talented and fun to watch.

....may I add he can set those records but he won't ...................not unless he learns to slide! He'll never make it the year taking hits like he did on the last drive.

I think he has been getting better, but on the last drive he did what he had to which was get every yard possible for his kicker.

Yeah without that cutback to the middle of the field who knows what would have happened. He got an extra 10-15 yards out of it. It was a huge play. Sometimes you've got to take a hit. Overall he wasn't hit very much yesterday so that was nice to finally see.

I mean he's a running QB. It's part of his game. He is going to get hit. What we need to continue doing is not subjecting him to systematic pounding. Did a good job on that yesterday and the 1st game. The middle two not as much. Everyone is till feeling this guy out a little. He can do way more than was expected I think.

I think yesterday was the type of day I like to see from Griffin on the ground. While he was hit hard on the final drive, it wasn't a devastating hit because he was able to brace for it; it's much different when his body is outstretched giving a pitch on the option or extending his arms over the goal line, which exposes his ribs for truly painful shots.

We can never eliminate the hits he's going to take. His legs are what separate him from other star passers, and what makes it so defenses cannot fully contain this offense; we do not want to take that away. What we do want is to eliminate hits where his body is badly exposed. I think he did a good job of limiting those yesterday. More games like that, less like Cincy from now on.

Even QBs that don't run have game sin whcih they take a pounding. It's the strategic pounding that we have to avoid.

It's hard to imagine the skins actually having a dynamic superstar QB but we do!

Griff is definitely special! Well rounded quarteback, well-rounded person. Now if we can just give him a defense, Super Bowl baby!

RG3 is a dynamic quarterback. And to think he's only played one quarter of his rookie season. He still has 3/4 of the season to go. On pace to break 13 records? Damn! I hope he does it.
