Dall-ass -- I'd bring it down a bit. The #2 ranked team doesn't have a very good track record this season.

Re: west virginia

While I for one am very excited at the possibilites (not gonna gurantee anything in a season where the number 1 and 2 ranked teams have lost to unranked teams something crazy like 11 times) I would much rather see WVU against a team like LSU, UGA or USC. If WV plays Ohio State it would be Illinois times about 10. Big ten teams cant defend the spread and WV has the man who is known as the father of the spread running the offense with about 10 times as much all around speed and talent as Illinois. Mizzou on the other hand would be much more exciting match up however they arent the 'marquee' name that so many people put so much stock into.

Re: west virginia

Dallas, have you been going around making cocky predictions like this involving the Skins over the last 15 years? That would explain a lot.

Sports karma is real

No doubt about it.

It's too bad WVU laid an egg tonight, because their defense is much improved over last year and their offense is normally spectacular. I think they would have been fun to watch in a national championship game. But to lose a home game as a 4 TD favorite against a 4-7 team and blow a shot at a title shot is a joke.

Wow! Oklahoma just went up 35-17 over Mizzou...

LSU vs. Ohio St? Georgia? It's crazy. If ever there was a year that proved the need for a playoff system this is it.

Hey, my Gators have a good chance at getting an at large bid to a BCS bowl now...

Re: west virginia

I was just looking over the BCS rankings and imagining what some of the matchups would be if there was a 16 team playoff. Hawaii going against LSU. Florida taking on Oklahoma, USC versus BC. What a joy it would be. Imagine a Florida going up to Columbus for a December quarterfinals game.

One can only imagine.

Wow, the Gators playing in Columbus... That would be nuts. I know Florida has 3 losses, but they can play with anyone.

rule is that you can only have 2 teams from any confrence to go to the BCS and that will be LSU and Georgia so sorry gator fans.
