Re: RIP Neil Armstrong

R.I.P. to a generational icon. No doubt his name will live on history books for a long time to come.

Re: RIP Neil Armstrong

A pioneer that helped humanity achieve a incredible goal.

RIP

Also, the stupid is strong with these people. Sad some people have no clue who these legends are.

Re: RIP Neil Armstrong

I like to think those Twitter feeds are being facetious since Neil Armstrong can be "confused" with a lot of people with similar first or last names. For example I'm a fan of a face book page that said, "RIP Neil Armstrong, you were a hell of a trumpet player" and had a picture of Louis Armstrong.

Just like when Whitney Houston died people kept posting pictures of Oprah.

Yeah... This is apparently a "thing".

The only twitter status I think may actually be serious is that second one.

Re: RIP Neil Armstrong

I had just turned 5 yrs old and can remember watching this on TV. MY mom was ironing clothes and I was playing with my GI Joe while watching. If I'm correct it was also history making live TV coverage from so far away. Not really sure why I remember watching the landing.
