Okay can we please call it a day so we can get ready to actually rebuild instead of this reload crap? I swear it's like an alcoholic that quits hard liquor but is still willing to drink beer

Hankerson to IR with Labrum Tear - Hogs Haven

I would kill to hear the Ted Leonis speech when he decided the Caps were going to rebuild.

Ted Leonsis, Washington Capitals owner: 10-points about rebuilding - Joel's Blog

Quote:
1. Ask yourself the big question: "Can this team--as constructed--ever win a championship?" If the answer is yes -- stay the course and try to find the right formula -- if the answer is no, then plan to rebuild. Don't fake it--really do the analytics and be brutally honest. Once you have your answer, develop the game plan to try to REALLY win a championship. Always run away from experts that say, "We are just one player away." Recognize there is no easy and fast systemic fix. It will be a bumpy ride--have confidence in the plan--"trust and verify: the progress -- but don't deviate from the plan."

Just when Hank was getting going this BS happens. These injuries are just ridiculous.

Wow, and the hits keep coming. Especially after a very good rookie performance by this guy. It takes a lot of work, being a Skins fan. Tough year.

Love Ted and the Caps.

I think we are in "rebuilding" though regardless if anyone will admit it. MS knows this. That's why we drafted like we did last year. He knows and we gotta give this regime a couple/few more drafts.

Yes, I hate to always say next year...but next year we'll be better. We'll have some guys back, some guys w/ more experience and another draft under our belts that will include a QB.

So, our remaining healthy WRs are Gaffney, Armstrong, Anderson, and Austin...Gaff is just solid, while the rest are cannot even be considered average. Sigh, more pain before it is over.

And Golston was playing alright too. I guess the wear is going to set in eventually on our Dline. They'll get gassed, and then they get pummeled.

How is this team/franchise not snake bitten? The bad luck never ends, never.

It's a torn hip labrum. I believe Caron Butler had the same issue a few seasons ago with the Wiz. Shanny said its a 4 month recovery period. It shouldn't affect him next season.

Man Shanny should have told Snyder that it will take at least ten years to rebuild, not five. It looks like we had a great draft and there careers are already over. All we need now to hear is that Kerrigan is out.
