What's Up With Flozell Adams and the Cowboys?

So it just occured to me that Flozell Adams got in another cheap shot on Justin Tuck yesterday. That after clipping Tuck and injuring him in week two. Both Tuck and Brandon Jacobs had some choice words for the Cowboys and Adams following the game. Jacobs flat out said he hates the Cowboys and Tuck called Adams a dirtbag.

But this is really uncalled for and Flo should and still might face suspension. I would love nothing more for the playoffs to be on the line when they come to FedEx later this month.

I thought that it was the leg whipping that Adams engaged in which was so egregious in round one this year. It was the cowardly shove in the back in round two.

I agree with you. I would like to see Adams heavily punished. Adams fits the cowardly, thuggish mold maintained by the Dallas Cowboys.

You could tell Jacobs was pissed, he was stammering and couldn't seem to even get his thoughts together.

Hines Ward probably thinks Adams is a dirty player. I hope he gets a couple of games suspension.

Flozell is dirty as hell. He's got a suspension coming his way I think. Where oh where is Sandtrap? LOL. He's doing his best impression of his team in December- disappearing.

Would love for their playoff hopes to hinge on the game at Fedex. No matter the record, the Redskins will be up for this game. How sweet it would be to send them home with a loss and out of the playoffs. THAT would take a little of the sting out of this season.
Dallas Sucks.

Unless Dallas wins its next two games - - Chargers and Saints - - your wish will come true. Their playoff hopes will definitely be on the line...

My guess is that the Cowboys will be underdogs to both the Chargers and the Saints.

Re: What's Up With Flozell Adams and the Cowboys?

if he isn't fined for atleast $25k and suspended one game it would be a joke, considering the fines goodell has handed out so far this year

But beyond that, is anyone within the locker room in this guy's ear? They seem to lack leadership somewhere.

Re: What's Up With Flozell Adams and the Cowboys?

sportscenter showed some great clips of the doughboy at his presser afterwards they put up the cowboys stats in dec since 97, they are 19-35 with a winning percentage of .352 and of course they are 0-5 in the playoffs.

i really hope we either spoil their season, or they do another one and done and set a record for most consecutive playoff losses

Flozell Adams faces possible suspension

Friday October 2, 2009 4:59 PM By Bob Glauber

Cowboys offensive tackle Flozell Adams has played three games this season, and has managed to do something in each game to draw a fine.

The next time he incurs the wrath of the NFL, he might not get off so easy. He could be suspended.

According to a league source, Adams was told in a letter this week that more repeated violations could result in a suspension.

Flozell Adams hit with another fine

The offensive tackle has now racked up three fines in three weeks.
October 01, 2009, 07:02 AM EST

IRVING, Texas (AP) Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams was fined by the NFL for the third straight week, the latest for kicking at Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers.

Adams was docked $7,500. He was fined $5,000 for an unnecessary roughness penalty in the opener and $12,500 for two plays against the New York Giants.

"He just wants to protect the quarterback," coach Wade Phillips said Wednesday.

Running back Felix Jones was fined $5,000 for an attempted leg whip.

"You would think you would have to trip the guy to get a fine, but he didn't," Phillips said.

Jones did not practice Wednesday because of a strained ligament in his left knee. Starting running back Marion Barber practiced, but was limited. Defensive end DeMarcus Ware went through the full workout, but was listed on the injury report with a neck problem.

He should be getting suspended if the Commissioner is being honest and sticking to his word.
