When athletes have a LOT of children...

...one of them are bound to get the athletic genes.

Maybe Travis Henry and Antonio Cromartie really do have a plan...

Re: When athletes have a LOT of children...

Yeah what is wrong with Antonio Cromartie? Anyone who watched Hard Knocks last night heard him ringing off the names of his 7 or 8 kids, 4 of which are 3 years old!!! WTF is that about? He had 4 different women pregnant during the same time span? There's something mentally wrong with anyone who's bopping around spreading his seed like that. It's just bizarre. Or he's just really that stupid. How could he go so long without getting the memo that if you don't use a condom a baby may be 9 months away?

Either way, real quality guy there.

Re: When athletes have a LOT of children...

I liked how he was struggling to name his kids. He was like, uhhh got (generic black kid name #1), she 3 yeuh ol, annnn, den ders (g.b.k.n. #2), she 3 yeah ol' too, annnd i got (g.b.k.n. #3) an he 2 yeah ol', ann, uhhh how many is dat, oh that only 3, uhh, i gots more too.

It's like they say, if you have 8 kids, odds are at least one of them will be successfull, probably motivated by having to share their dad with 6 or 7 other kids.

Kind of makes me wish Cromartie was here to give sex advice to SolidSnake...that'd have been great

Re: When athletes have a LOT of children...

I'm not sure if he's sure how many kids he has. Also, FSU fudged his academic stuff so he can play, and admit he has around a 3rd-grade education and can't read.

“Cromartie at age 25 has 7 children, by 6 different women across 5 states and is behind on child support by at least $25,000. All of the children are age 6 or younger.” He has since added an 8th and was on Hard Knocks trying to remember their names.

Apparently, Travis Henry is his inspiration...he has something like 11 kids to 9 mothers all over the place.

Re: When athletes have a LOT of children...

We should probably direct Cromartie to the Vasectomy thread.

Re: When athletes have a LOT of children...

Athletes With Illegitimate Kids: The Comprehensive List | Sports

This list is a little outdated, and it apperently only includes illegitimate kids so each athlete may have more if they are married.

Also i was talking to this chick last night who's friend married Ladell Betts, i blew her off until she later showed me pictures on her phone. Ladell allready has a kid from a ex, fyi. I asked her if her friend was hoping to have a kid with him who would one day become a athlete and she said no and that her friend doesnt want professional athlete kids or something like that. So my thoughts are that these girls are trying to get preggers so they can have a athlete kid one day. But now i think maybe its because they think they can collect a check every month till the kids 18. Sometimes im a little naive.

Humorous Jets fan discussion about it, including comments like "they should have put a vasectomy in his contract".

Some Florida State athletes helped by 'learning disability' diagnosis - ESPN

Once on campus, a learning disabled athlete can ask for an NCAA waiver that allows him or her to take less than a full course load (12 hours) in a given semester. And at Florida State, the athlete can be exempted from passing the state-mandated basic competency tests in math and English that all at-risk college students must take before their junior year. "A good number of athletes come through the waiver system," says Jennifer Buchanan, chair of the CLAST (College Level Academic Skills Test) Waiver Committee at FSU.

"Outside the Lines" on ESPN reported he can only read one or two words a MINUTE.
